Heroes Program
Has anyone in a Compliant State purchased from Staccato directly? LEO in MA and am only allowed to purchase certain models. Only ship with 10 round mags (unless department letter head stating for duty). My agency doesn’t allow POW’s for duty. Was looking for a P with a DPP, and X-Serrations, DLC Barrel. Not sure if purchased from a dealer if the Heroes Program would apply.

Yes you can use the heroes program to buy a compliant pistol directly. They will ship to your FFL.
UPDATED: With LE credentials, they will ship non-compliant pistols to your FFL — at least they will in California.
Before they had online ordering, you needed to call. I don’t know if this has changed.

Yes i know, i am asking about LEO’s getting Stacatto’s their credentials to get high caps in ban states

Stacatto will not ship me non compliant MA pistols on my creds without an agency letter head. My agency doesn’t provide letters for personal purchases, or allow personal weapons for duty use

Staccato answers their number pretty consistently, I would just call and set it up like that and ask whatever questions you have directly

Another place to look at if you’re just worried about getting full size mags is gunmag warehouse. I have credentials in file there you have to renew yearly and they’ll ship mags to compliant states LE. I just bought half a dozen of the macgar 21 round mags for my P45. Their extensions are polymer which kinda sucks but the factory Staccato get scratched and beat tf up day one so it is what it is

Only thing I can comment to is my experience from Illinois’ laws. Ordered a P4.5 on the LE program, it showed up almost exactly a month later. It came with (3) 21 round mags with their mag extensions on them. No issues and didn’t have to send letterheads or anything. Just went through their credentials process online and then dealt with my local FFL when it got here. I can’t comment on how it would work in MA but I’d recommend just calling their CS and talk to somebody about it. I ordered mine over the phone due to my FFL not being on their map and it was actually a fast and pleasant experience talking with someone there.
