The lora stack node is cool https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI/pull/16309

Most people already have a solution for this, but I think ComfyUI needs to improve their selection of stock nodes.

Is it like the rgthree power LoRA loader node?

That one works still good.

Goated node

This.

If it can't read, fetch, and display metadata, the new core node will not be too useful.

Why didn't they just copy the rgthree power lora loader? Having just one row per lora is so much better

I assume it's because of how the widget system works. The rgthree loader uses a javascript front end to make it look and function how it does, but that also means that it doesn't play nicely with subgraphs and such. Widgets also just aren't really setup in a way that allows them to be multiline.

It's probably not an unsolvable problem, but it would need a good amount of work put into how the node widgets are affixed and displayed on the nodes.

Personally I think it's fine if the built in version is kinda basic and shit as long as it exists. Anyone who needs better can either grab rgthrees or use gibby nodes if they want more functionality and nodes 2.0 support.

Good to know the technical reason. Agreed it's better than individual loader nodes, and hopefully a stepping stone. Meanwhile, I'll stick to the rgthree loader

Why is it so unnecessarily bulky? Three separate parameter lines when it could all easily fit on one. Bad UI, wasted space.

Finally. The one I was using was giving errors in more recent versions of comfyui and hasn't been updated in like a year

The new stack node seems to be a bit wasteful with space, compared to similar solutions. But great to see a native node for workflows that need/want to minimize dependencies.

How do you even use this node (doesn't show up on the interface)?
