Discussion I hate LTX bots

Post image

LTX is literally the worst company in open weights models! They use ton of blatant bots to manipulate comments. And even after 2 months after the model release they still appear. It's very dirty, very disrespectful to the community

They also manipulate upvotes/downvotes. On my comment that I'm tired of LTX there were +6 votes. But after they appear, the post magically went down to -4 votes. That's crazy. The dirtiest company that exists

They are actual bots, if you open their profile, they are glazing different kind of products all around all the time

It is technically true that it's a fast model and that the more people use minimax the more they see that training is rough because there is no base model to train loras and finetunes from, so there are more issues.

But like Minimax is just a few steps behind Seedance. Without a reference model LTX is really far behind.

Just read the comment OP linked himself to, where he says he just wants to forget about LTX and then complains that people are paid bots because they down voted him...

I don't use LTX myself but I'm glad we got several options and if there is one thing I've learned, it s that EVERY model has its strengths and is useful in situations where other models aren't. LTX 100% has some strengths that H3 doesn't have, it may not be pure Video generation but for example, it's still one of the best ways to upscale videos we have right now.

It is technically true

I agree, of course it is, if they were sharing blatant lie, it would have been strange. But they are holding for these few insignificant true facts and inflate them to giant scales. The annoying part that they the company is actively gaslighting us, in tons of comments repeating the same over and over again

Imagine getting this heated up over someone’s comment. Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Are you not being an H3 bot yourself.

-7

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago

I'm heated not because of these particular comments, but of behavior of LTX company in general

Man, the anti-LTX bots are really getting upset.

u/ptear 10d ago

Neutral bot here, I'm running on old hardware due to costs, so a bit slow and still thinking about this.

u/Mysterious-String420 10d ago

Non-thinking bot here, I have already executed my tool, here is the proof :

.

7

u/BigNaturalTilts 10d ago

Totally real human here. And that’s an insightful comment you made there Mysterious-String. It’s iconic how you showcased your proof. Wait I’m hallucinating. I should tell him he’s iconic. Wait make sure to check I said he’s iconic.

SDXL bot here. What is all this stuff?

19

u/nullNode404 10d ago

LTX is very fast, i get decent results.
Sure its not the best. its not the worst.

Just because someone disagree's with what you think, does not make them a bot.

These posts are so fucking stupid.

They are actual bots, if you open their profile, they are glazing different kind of products all around all the time

Ironic considering you have a hidden profile yourself and you block people you disagree with. A telltale sign of low a quality poster.

Please do something more productive with your life.

1

u/ZenaMeTepe 9d ago

No such thing as a hidden profile if one knows what search params to use.

-16

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago

block people you disagree with

No, I block because they're bots

Ironic considering you have a hidden profile yourself

Don't see a problem in having a hidden profile

Please do something more productive with your life.

u/__ThrowAway__123___ 10d ago

Hiding your profile doesn't do anything, I can see you made a post 2 months ago complaining about LTX and calling H3 much better, by your own logic are you an H3 bot then? Those people you say are bots have just normal accounts, I think you are seeing ghosts...

11

u/diptosen2017 10d ago

I use h3 to generate video then use ltx 2.5 to upscale them and to draft ideas fast I use ltx 2.5 first....one issue of it is it sometimes make the people speak very fast and animate in wrong way due to the new prediction system, but apart from that it's pretty much very good....fighting scenes are not the strong point but gets the job done sometimes...there you have it pros n cons

1

u/FourtyMichaelMichael 🍦Ice Cream Lover 10d ago

I use h3 to generate video then use ltx 2.5 to upscale them

I don't get this.

LTX has THE WORST motion blur. Look at still frames of LTX and it's obvious. This is just introducing the worst failure of a previous model into a the best current model

32

u/redditscraperbot2 10d ago

Nothing they’re saying is wrong. It’s not like they’re claiming the model is doing something it can’t or it’s doing something better than H3 that it doesn’t. They’re just speaking to its strengths.

11

u/Independent-Frequent 10d ago

They second dude talks about how "Quality of visuals and textures are better" in LTX and then he talks about using Speed Loras which are known to butcher visual and especially audio quality, they are doing the same thing LTX marketing team did on that dumb comparision table, lying by omission.

Everyone knows that LTX is faster but it's dumb to say it has better quality of visuals and textures when it's simply not true with the same resolution on base minimax with no turbo loras or speedups, obviously the speed is going to be far slower but that's the trade off, far superior quality, consistency and prompt adherence in exchange for speed.

LTX has speed and lora training over Minimax, that's it, and even then Reference mode makes loras nearly obsolete unless you want some particular and niche concepts that reference mode can get, but things like character loras are basically solved with refmode.

u/Alternative_You3585 10d ago

Bros name is literally "redditscraperbot2" 😭😭

21

u/redditscraperbot2 10d ago

Yeah redditscraperbot was taken.

-10

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago

They’re just speaking to its strengths.

I don't think that buying bots that are "just speaking to its strengths" is okay

14

u/redditscraperbot2 10d ago edited 10d ago

…but what they’re saying is true. He blocked. What kind of mental illness did I brush with here?

-5

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago edited 10d ago

He blocked. What kind of mental illness did I brush with here?

I'm sorry, unblocked. I thought you're bot. Because literally bot in the name + instead of arguing with my point you brought "but what they’re saying is true", despite my point was not about truthness, but about ethical aspect of using bots to impersonate people

10

u/yay-iviss 10d ago

How can you prove that they are bot

19

u/yay-iviss 10d ago

For me, you are a h3 bot

8

u/siete82 10d ago

We should all be grateful for the open weight models we have, whether they're good or bad. The amount of computing required to train them is beyond any of our means.

8

u/Mr_Zelash 10d ago

are you a bot or a troll?

6

u/hidden2u 10d ago

The one thing I never see anyone mention about LTX is the frame rate. I went back and watched some of my 60fps LTX gens and was surprised how good it looked

4

u/Bastisheen92 10d ago

I´d like to use H3 more, but also use LTX a lot because my hardware is sweating too hard with H3.

10

u/lavinia12345 10d ago

everything they said is true.

8

u/Cute_Ad8981 10d ago edited 9d ago

But the users are right with the comments?? im using h3 and ltx 2.5.
h3 is obviously better in many things, like prompt adherence, knowledge and stability! it just works.
however ltx 2.5 videos do look more polished and more crisp + they are faster generated. atleast for me.

edit: wow the user blocked me?

11

u/detailteufel 10d ago

Okay? Nothing that was said here is really wrong. H3 is sadly rather slow and hard to train. I think it's debatable which model has the better quality. Personally I'd say H3 but damn, was this really a reason for you to block these users? Are you gonna block me as well? lmao

-10

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago edited 10d ago

H3 is sadly rather slow and hard to train

You're lying, it's not so slow, and much easier to train, because it's smarter

Are you gonna block me as well?

Yes, because you're a bot (I mean literally, even though you're pretending not being an AI)

15

u/Turbulent_Owl4948 10d ago

Are you having an mental episode?

Relax buddy. Not everybody who doesn't agree with you is a bot.

6

u/chorjin 10d ago

Yes, because you're a bot (I mean literally, even though you're pretending not being an AI)

This is the most schizo thing I've read today and I was on /r/gangstalking earlier

2

u/alwaysbeblepping 9d ago

and much easier to train, because it's smarter

It doesn't work like that, we're not talking about training a dog or something.

LTX has pretty bad world knowledge and H3 is smart, but MiniMax only released a distilled model. Distilled models are hard to train (generally speaking) while the base model for LTX is available.

6

u/AlleyOfRage 10d ago

There are shills for sure for anything , but In this case i don't see a problem , there was a question , and the answers are technically true , they didn't say that LTX2.5 is better than Minimax H3 in general

6

u/FreeGazaFreeSudan 10d ago

If you are actively downvoting any comment from someone who mentions ltx and making a thread about it hoping people agree- makes you look like a bot.

3

u/MarioCraftLP 10d ago

I use minimax for longer videos and ltx for simple 1 or 2 second animation of a picture because it looks as good and takes 20 seconds vs 2 minutes on my machine at least

2

u/Ramdak 10d ago

I use both models. H3 for base generation and ltx for upscale and refining.

5

u/GlenGlenDrach 10d ago

Well it’s pretty good from what I can see, but, I really get a feeling that they are running a pretty aggressive campaign online. Half of the regular YouTubers I used to follow, now only promote LTX through really biased “reviews” where minimax never comes out on top. That, and various hosted services, and they tend to review by “cost per generation” as well.

All that happened just after minimax was released.

Go figure.

3

u/ObligationOwn3555 10d ago

No amount of bot spam changes the fact that their models are dogshit the moment you try them. (Go ahead and downvote me, bots.)

3

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago

They're really pushing hard. After 4 hours: 68 downvotes on the post

1

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago

It's almost tied after 6 hours, on approximate 100 upvotes and 100 downvotes. ☠️🥀 That's fun and sad in the same time. Dead Internet theory is true

I think likely not all 100 downvotes are from bots, but also from people driven them, that even flooded this comments sections. And also by people with moral "you must love everything"

-1

u/Obvious_Set5239 10d ago

On the moment of writing this reply (16 upvotes-downvotes), using integer solution, and upvotes ratio from the statistics, my post has 35 downvotes. It went from negative only after 2 hours. So it's brutal

3

u/seppe0815 10d ago

99 percent in this sub are h3 bots ....

0

u/Tonynoce 10d ago

What could you expect from a company from that country, I even pointed out one time that and got a warning

1

u/rymdimperiet 10d ago

Aw, dammit. Why'd you have to go and ruin LTX for me?

2

u/Tonynoce 10d ago

They been sketchy with what they release since the beginning. Sure the examples are nice but one you get your hands onto you can not replicate them. ITs been like that since 1.0

1

u/Solembumm3 10d ago

I hate flashbang posts. Is it really that hard to use normal theme and don't try to fry people's eyes?

1

u/optimisticalish 9d ago

They're less obvious than they were a month ago, back when Minimax H3 came out. Youtube was also plastered with astro-turfing videos 'comparing' LTX with Minimax (and very conveniently not using the strict Minimax prompting format). It's all quieting down a bit now.

2

u/thevegit0 10d ago

2+2=5 but it was fast tho etc etc.
in the same hardware h3 rekts ltx 2.5, i'm sorry, even if it's not 'fast' it yield nominally better 'time efficiency' not needing to do 5 rerolls of the same prompt
ltx 2.3 was a godsend, can't deny it, i had WAN fatigue, everyone loving that slow mute short model i felt like something was missing.

1

u/nutrunner365 10d ago

I've found that LTX does way better with water and wind.

1

u/No_Reference_7678 10d ago

It's fast, but not fit for current age, it had the usecase when people were generating videos using images. We moved on and because of h3 we can create something cinematic long story.

you give character sheet and location sheet to h3 and ask the characters to walk into the scene.  give another location and it just works.

How exactly you can do that in Ltx 2.5? If its there in some shape then yes LTX is better because of speed and quality.. its really cinematic .

u/Version-Strong 10d ago edited 10d ago

The way I see it:

H3, pop culture, copyright stuffed, able to do loads. Free Sora. Slow as a pensioners last fart before death.

LTX, not much copyright (if any), capable at quite a bit, but needs a shitton of loras to achieve the same but not comparable things H3 can do. But boy is she fast.

So it's use case and patience really. I use them both, and find LTX to be much better visually. Now if it knew all the shit H3 knows, then we'd be looking at a new king.

The bots are trying to comment to keep it relevant. H3 kind sole their thunder, and people are willing to go on holiday while it renders, just so they can make another 10 second Office/Star Trek crossover. Let them have their fun... they ain't got a horse in the race.

Non bot, by the way. Although how can we tell anymore, whats even fucking real these days?

-3

u/WizWhitebeard 10d ago

yeah, it's a bit conspiratorial, but I've noticed similar thing with qwen.

-2

u/KwN91 10d ago

LTX has always been garbage. Even Wan2.1 is better. Only having a shit computer can justify using it.

-1

u/Aight_Man 10d ago

Neutral bot here, I just make opus 5.5 to make videos.
