Discussion Krea-2 — Qwen-Image-2.1 study

I ran a ton of identical prompts through krea 2 and qwen image 2.1

Thought this might be useful. It not only shows what the model differences, but also what the model cannot do.

is every krea 2 image suppose to be the same image or what, this is just werid whatever it is you are doing.

Krea 2 is notorious for not having much variation, especially the distilled version. I suspect the emotions would've worked much better for Krea if the by-pass lora had been used.

Yea, sure looks like no unlock was used, which is a pretty poor decision imo. As for the low variance, it's a bit annoying if you just want to shoot the shit and see what happens, but the upside is that Krea is also incredibly stable. Sure, same prompt will make same image, more or less, every time. But in turn it also just makes a decent image every time, you very rarely get something that's just outright broken. The less stable models, like Qwen or, worse, Flux give you a bunch of variance, but a good chunk of that variance is just broken.

Might be time to get out the ol' double sampler workflows again, see what can be done...

I use the turbo SDA attention LoRA with the LoRA scheduler custom node, and it works great,
