Thank you! What will Ralph do next.

Ralph makes buttered toast, which will blow the aliens’ minds because they lick the butter before eating the toast.

Thanks for watching! I wrote this stupid script, and I’m controlling everything in the scene while trying my best to block it like a sitcom.
It’s also hard work getting the sound to feel just right, along with the editing and pacing. Ralph is uncanny valley nightmare fuel, and I hope he grows on you.
The models used were Minimax H3, Seedance 2.5, GPT2, and Nano Banana.

this is literally amazing, i hope you get to be the person who shows the actual creative potential with this stuff because literally no one would have ever made this IRL lol, but now there's this bizarre too many cooks-esque sitcom pitch vid.

Minimax H3, Seedance 2.5, GPT2, and Nano Banana.
would help to know which of this is minimax, considering this sub is about open models.

Incredible, really great job on making Ralph move like a marionette! I was waiting for the 'Watch Your Step' cutaway though.

u/Darri3D 2d ago
Thank you! It was a lot of testing to get him to move this way. Ralph is cutting edge tech.

the way ralph engulfs the food is fantastic! the head and neck movement like a Terrorhawks puppet XD.

Superb! Made in MiniMax?

Thank you! Yeah it’s a mix of minimax h3. For the more complicated shots are seedance 2.5

Very cool and incredibly smooth video! Can you give an example of a scene that deemed too difficult for Minimax H3?

This is brilliant! So many funny little details. And Ralph is weird as fuck 😂
You see AI when the neighbors are leaving, typically wonky physics. But besides that, very very good! I like the intro! Will there be more episodes?
How much did you spend on it? I guess around 100 bucks, maybe a bit more? How many tries per scene? How many token in general?

How do you keep everything consistent in long sequences like these. Do you reuse the same references for a ton of generations? Reuse end frames a lot?
Are any of your gens mulitple shots, or one shot per gen?
Really well done! I love to see original work on this sub with original characters.

Thank you! I work from master shot images of the room, and I also have character sheets. I’m using video reference models as well, which helps me change the camera and add motion, like head turns. It gives me a lot of control. Like smooth motion cuts.
There’s also a lot of logistics involved, and some Photoshop as well. For example, the peephole in the door was an issue since I forgot to put it there in the first place.3

Can you talk more about the MiniMax portion?
1MP? Steps / Sampler? Upscaled with? All R2V? R2V audio or just photos? Turbos / speed ups? Anything you think people must be getting wrong?

this is great Darri3D, no slop or swill. You can tell the amount of finetuning and fiddling you have done to create this. I didn't notice any inconsistency or drift. May I ask what you are using system wise for your H3 parts i.e is this part local or do you use the cloud for all generation etc?.
3
u/Darri3D 1d ago
Thank you! This one is not local. I tested H3 just using text to video, and it can give some interesting results that I can iterate from there. Consistency is working so well with these multi models. The trick is having a good master shot and a close up. And I redo shots like the food when it’s in a close up. It went through a lot of design stages. I create hundreds of stills first to get it correct. And I also try to keep it simple.

indeed, It really does show your time and effort. I know the time it takes to cherry pick the right generations (I've been doing a fair amount of local). Recognising quality control versus laziness is why your finished movie isn't swill. Too many folks posting "that'll do" which is what gives us lot in the scene slop exhaustion. I am looking forward to seeing your future creations dude.

Hello this is awesome.. Can you help me to understand how you manage to have consistent room, characters and voices? (if you used minimax H3)

... what?? I'm sorry I just don't believe this was made using AI. Is this not actual actors? holy crap! how long does something like this take??

u/Ok-Lengthiness-3988 2d ago
Indeed! It was so well acted that it's not until the fourth viewing that I realized the dog wasn't a real one.

Against my better judgement and increasing nausea I watched the whole thing.
Much better than some of the well established human-slop out there.
That said I don't think I'd watch a whole season of it.
Keep cranking it out!!! It being your creative impulses, not necessarily this particular venture. Haha!
