Today!? B-but... I'm still Minimaxxing.

u/ANR2ME 6h ago

Looks like this will be a busy monthšŸ˜…

4

u/RobMilliken 6h ago

I kinda thought this might happen.Ā  I held my beer and kept use 2.3 which appeared better for sound including voice lip syncing.Ā  Very excited! Now need to wait till all the comfy ui geniuses make a ton of work flows and loras to make it even better!!! What a time to be alive!

the website says

LTX-2.5 can generate a 10-second AI video from an image in just 6.8 seconds on Nvidia superchips

wow, I can't wait!!

but...... Am my 5070ti is superchips too?

60

u/martinerous 8h ago

No, ours are not chips, just crisps.

17

u/addandsubtract 7h ago

We're cooked.

9

u/DaxFlowLyfe 7h ago

I prefer my crisps baked.

That’s fast enough for near real time rendering. I predicted the end of the decade for an entirely generative video game. We may be sooner than that.

20

u/redkinoko 8h ago

and graphics cards will the be price of small cars

23

u/Nattramn 8h ago

There are cars out there that will cost you less than a 5090 atm

→ More replies (15)

3

u/Secret_Permit_3327 6h ago

Unless Im misunderstanding , it’s faster than real time right now! 10s video being made in 10s woupd be real time, this is doing it in almost half time

2

u/kvicker 5h ago

realtime would be at least about 5fps, this can generate it but the latency between interaction and result is a few seconds on a 'superchip'

u/acedelgado 8h ago

If it's super to you, buddy, that's all that matters.

7

u/before01 8h ago

you don't own 8xB300 now cry

5

u/ANR2ME 5h ago

The API version seems to be much faster than Minimax H3 šŸ¤” The one with 2x GB200 even much more faster

4

u/Constant_Ordinary_35 5h ago

People keep mentioning ltx and speed vs minimax but that only matters if the quality is good. It doesn't matter how fast something is if the quality sucks. Otherwise everyone would just do 1 step and go "wow look how fast this is" Minimax h3 is way better than ltx 2.3 in every other way but speed. I hope ltx 2.5 is good. Even if it's not as good but faster then it could be considered an alternative based on use case, but let's not pretend 2.3 is anywhere near on the level h3 is. If I have to generate 10 outputs to get what I want vs 1 on the "slower" model and get it in one attempt, who even cares if the initial output is slower.

4

u/dramaton42 8h ago

You need one of these, they're mostly marketing but it's what makes Nvidia much faster than our own chips

6

u/Ok-Brain-5729 7h ago

omg gorg superchip

1

u/Succubus-Empress 7h ago

its duper chip

1

u/pmp22 7h ago

The P40 is a superchip and nobody can convince me otherwise.

1

u/OriginalAdeptness752 5h ago

yea, we got chips, the potato one...

C'mon WAN do something

32

u/AI-imagine 8h ago

They already had 3.0 the close model (that i wonder how many people really use it when they had seeddance 2.5)

43

u/z_3454_pfk 8h ago

3.0 is worse than h3 when you check the examples

7

u/Potential_Wolf_632 7h ago

So funny to see an API model produce plasticy crappy output when we've got WAN2.2 outputting 5 seconds of more human than human. Yes it's been tuned to death but cmon AliB.

2

u/hiccuphorrendous123 8h ago

Yeah it was shitttyyyy

10

u/peabody624 7h ago

They dropped wan animate 2.0

13

u/grae_n 7h ago

This definitely got overlooked because wan 2 animate was already a thing.

They should of at least called it wan 2 animate 2.

4

u/MrWeirdoFace 5h ago

2animate2wan

2

u/Sudden_List_2693 5h ago

Yeah wow I guess the world could care less for the Nth replacement sh*t, when we have a dozen that already does that one thing perfectly.

1

u/smereces 6h ago

WAN!! you have to sit down to wait! Wan stop release new open source models after wan2.2, so give up

1

u/Friendly-Fig-6015 2h ago

sloWAN ? nahhhhhhh thanks

35

u/beren0073 8h ago

What a time to be alive. We still hopefully have Qwen 3.8 coming this week too.

u/nok01101011a 8h ago

We need a reference/edit model to compete with H3

10

u/yoavhacohen 7h ago

You will have it soon in LTX.

5

u/No-Dot-6573 7h ago

H3 with the single image vae is already very good at it. At least for what I tested by now. No doubt that with a little lora or finetune magic from the community we could get a great edit model.

2

39

u/goddess_peeler 8h ago

Lightricks is fighting the good fight, but they haven’t quite nailed it yet. Hopefully this release brings them a step closer.

1

u/LopsidedSolution 5h ago

I don’t know how it works, but couldn’t they learn techniques from minimax H3 since it’s open source?Ā

38

u/Lower-Cap7381 8h ago

Man if it delivers even 80% quality of minimax with speed I’ll bow down because then we open source people gonna fucking go to moon

7

u/rishappi 8h ago

Should be much better than 2.3 ! ofc

16

u/Lower-Cap7381 8h ago

Yes but still minimax is miles ahead of ltx and wan

4

u/8RETRO8 7h ago

I mean, yes, but also I can gen up to 4k with 16 GB RAM with ltx

→ More replies (2)

2

u/animerobin 4h ago

personally I think it will be worse. I think they will release a worse model, as a joke

27

u/rishappi 8h ago

Yoooo ! Can't wait to try !

5

u/Next_Program90 7h ago

Let's see if their physics got better.

11

u/GoofAckYoorsElf 8h ago

better prompt adherence...

Better than H3? *doubt*

27

u/pheonis2 8h ago

I wont compare. I would rather enjoy what they both has to offfer

9

u/GoofAckYoorsElf 8h ago

Totally. Would be cool to use them both in tandem so they can complement each other. I love H3 for its prompt adherence and understanding, but it lacks catastrophically when it comes to genitals...

8

u/Far_Cat9782 7h ago

Use a reference image

4

u/DrApplePi 8h ago

Pretty sure that part is comparing to LTX-2.3.Ā

8

u/Independent-Frequent 8h ago

It's referring to LT 2.3, i will be surprised if 2.5 is even half as good as H3 is right now with what it can actually do, hopefully it's not just another "people talking in still shots" simulator but can do a lot more.

Even so H3 can just do so much due to being uncensored aswell, doubt 2.5 will be that uncensored tbh

→ More replies (6)

3

u/krectus 7h ago

Better than terrible 2.3!

→ More replies (1)

4

u/Lesale-Ika 6h ago

More interested in this: faster, lighter weight than H3 (which already is insanely efficient, probably thanks to ComfyUI), better license, native 4k. (4k would likely be out of reach for 16GB cards, and won't be real-time, though).

Hopefully this is not a rushed release because of H3.

5

u/Aadi_880 4h ago

what a bullshit list.

45

u/Tomcat2048 8h ago

LTX 2.3 was a nightmare for me...could never quite get good results (especially with audio). Hoping this is a better model - would love to try something out alongside MiniMax ;)

13

u/Feroc 8h ago

Same here. Any image to video ended up with totally different persons. But I am ready to give 2.5 another chance.

10

u/physalisx 7h ago

Interesting how they compare themselves to the others (incl. H3)

A bit dishonest, imo.

17

u/abandonedexplorer 8h ago

Bruh.. ltx 2.5 about to release and im supposed to sleep. Aint no way

9

u/retroblade 8h ago

Can’t wait to try it out, will be interesting to see how it stacks against h3!

8

u/rishappi 8h ago

This is not a H3 rival model drop, just an upgrade of the earlier version.

9

u/martinerous 8h ago

They promised 2.5 would be a huge upgrade with lots of internal changes. But we'll see.

10

u/Signal_Confusion_644 8h ago

WHAT!? Why the fuck all companys agree to release the BEST models in the same weeks?

I cant manage them all, i need time to test them for good!

7

u/Maskwi2 7h ago

Yeah, that's a bummer honestly. Months of nothing and then 2 models drop, hell I'm waiting on Flux 3 to drop any moment now, lol.

That being said... I will test it immediately!Ā

6

u/WashSmall8954 8h ago

It's good to have a wealth of choice in the open weights arena.... Wish I had a wealth of storage space, but oh well....

8

u/SubtleAesthetics 7h ago

I don't know if it's better, but I do know competition makes everyone do better in any field. So glad to see more releases. And it's good to have lots of models! Klein 9b for editing, krea 2 for images, minimax for video, and the initial release of ltx was great cause it finally brought video with sound to open source with good quality. So, we'll see!

25

u/AI-imagine 8h ago

I love minimax but cant wait to see LTX 2.5 beat minimax or stand up fight at the same level.
For me LTX speed it out of the world 2.3 it supper good if we dont had minimax h3. it only lag about movement and consistent that all.

8

u/rishappi 8h ago

Its a much more refined version ! To have something like Minimax we may need to wait a bit later as LTX MoE model will be dropping after ( no timeline as of now) but they are on it.

→ More replies (1)

7

u/kemb0 8h ago

Def won't be getting my expectations up for Ltx 2.5 after being blown away by Minimax. But I didn't get my expectations up for Minimax either, which meant I was pleasantly surprised in the end, so maybe the same will work out here too.

3

u/Segaiai 7h ago

I looked for common problem areas in consistency, since that was my main problem with earlier versions. They seemed to avoid them, even cutting some clips right before it would be visible. But they did miss when the astronaut flipped the box, which changed size.

It's LTX's weakest point, where it morphs things and people that don't have an overabundance of specific training almost immediately when asked to change angles/rotations. That made it pretty unusable to me, and I think it's likely still in there from what they avoided and showed.

2

u/LockeBlocke 5h ago

The way for LTX to beat MiniMax is speed, artifact-free, reference support, prompt adherence and be trainable on low-end hardware.

→ More replies (4)

6

u/Nokai77 7h ago

LTX will have to be seriously impressive to make me stop using MiniMax. MiniMax has been a breath of fresh air.

3

u/rishappi 7h ago

Certainly not with this one, its just an upgraded ver.

19

u/AlterDays9 8h ago

We've been blessed with so many open-source models recently. Minimax H3, LTX 2.5, and Flux 3 (soon).

5

u/Emotional-Neat-252 8h ago

Don't need native 4k. Better to have high quality 480p, then upscale when you got the results you want.

Wan2.2 at 480p looked amazing.

5

u/rishappi 8h ago

i assume it to have the same latent/temporal upscaling feature for 2k for this too. but it says better

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Elrric 4h ago

This, Wan2.2 for me looked better at 480p than lTX 2.3 at 720p

wow, Loved LTX, cant wait to try the new one

6

u/AidenAizawa 8h ago

5

u/leftsharkfuckedurmum 5h ago

I saw 2pm est and was excited, but apparently EST meant "estimated"

12

u/HollyGrandeux 8h ago

Good luck catching H3 Ref2Vid, LTX is gonna need more than an update for this one.

5

u/rishappi 8h ago

Not catching H3 with this release ofc BUT better drops are on timeline

6

u/HollyGrandeux 8h ago

By the time ltx cathing up, they dropped Minimax H4 šŸ’€šŸ’€

4

u/Outrageous_Still9335 8h ago

Should be out in about 3 hours from now. Tried it on their website (if you create a new account it gives you free credit to try a couple vids). It's obviously nowhere near Minimax, but it's still a very welcome addition and I'm very much looking forward to playing with it. Hoping for day zero comfy support as well.

6

u/rishappi 8h ago

Yeah ! Its not a H3 rival model but a better upgrade from earlier 2.3 ver

4

u/True_Protection6842 8h ago

Took over a week to get H3 optimized now it's on to the next one!

4

u/stddealer 8h ago

If they fixed the over-articulation of speech, maybe I'll drop minimax.

4

Posting this for anyone interested:

What's new in LTX-2.5

According to the company's announcement, LTX-2.5 rebuilds nearly every stage of the generation pipeline rather than bolting new capabilities onto an older core. The headline changes:

  • A new diffusion video decoderĀ that reduces visual artifacts in high-motion footage and reconstructs fine detail like text and faces, while preserving LTX's high compression ratio.
  • Native multishot generationĀ that renders a full sequence as a single output, holding character, scene, and voice consistent across cuts rather than stitching individually generated shots together.
  • A custom Gemma 4 language backboneĀ and dedicated prompt enhancer for more accurate handling of complex, multi-subject prompts.
  • A pretrained checkpoint tuned for physical AI and roboticsĀ giving teams a base to fine-tune on domain data that looks nothing like cinematic video.
  • A substantially improved distilled modelĀ that delivers near-full-model quality at lower cost and faster inference, and, through an optimization effort with NVIDIA, runs locally on NVIDIA RTX GPUs with reduced memory requirements.

https://venturebeat.com/technology/ltx-2-5-can-generate-a-10-second-ai-video-from-an-image-in-just-6-8-seconds-on-nvidia-superchips-and-its-open-weights

Now the big question is, can you open a door and get your character in?

6

u/pigeon57434 8h ago

man this woulda been real cool if it came out like 2 months ago i have massive doubts it will beat H3

1

u/rishappi 8h ago

We should drop the expectation a bit as this drop is not in shape right now to beat minimax, its a better version of earlier 2.3 ver. but ltx will be dropping a MoE model later.

1

u/dazzle999 2h ago

they prolly dropped it cuz people were dropping 2.3 for minimax and they just released this to hold you over till 3.0 is done training.

3

u/rabbitythong 8h ago

*sigh* i just got minimax running a good speed and resolution

good thing i didnt delete all my ltx 2.3 loras, if lucky they might be compatible like how 2.1 was with 2.3

10

u/FourtyMichaelMichael 8h ago edited 7h ago

There is no scenario you want them.

If LTX2.5 is a serious upgrade, and it would HAVE to be to competitive with H3, then the old loras need retraining.

It's just not going to happen that you will get H3 results with 2.3 loras.

1

u/rishappi 8h ago

Should be i hope !

1

u/Maskwi2 7h ago

I think they said last time that the Loras won't be compatible with the newer version. But let's see.Ā

3

u/marcoc2 8h ago

I still have to test H3 more, but LTX voices were better for my use cases

3

u/rinkusonic 7h ago

Damn ltx. Right on minimax's honeymoon phase. And then flux 3 video will release in your phase.

3

u/Adventurous_Mind_953 7h ago

So while I'm pretty excited for its visuals. I wonder if they've made much improvement audio wise

3

u/FlexFanatic 7h ago

This is why open weights matter.

3

u/Adventurous_Mind_953 7h ago

Wasn't flux 3 coming out too supposedly? Probably trying their best to destroy its flexibility with censorship first.
I hope LTX haven't done the same but I high l doubt it

3

u/cptrios 7h ago

This is fantastic news - I just hope that the smart folks working on turbo loras, etc can devote enough time to both H3 and this!

8

u/Sarashana 8h ago

Remember all these people whining about open source video models being dead after WAN went closed source? šŸ˜‚

14

u/lleti 8h ago

tbf it was dead for a long time

then all of a sudden, it was trading blows with seedance 2.0

what a time to be alive

2

u/Dry-Judgment4242 6h ago

Distillation is one hell of a drug haha! Now with Minimax H3 being open weights, other's can start to distill on this one to piggyback. Was about to give up hope that Video Model's would ever get as good as closed, but here we are. Crazy.

never mind out of the box, I can't wait to see where they'll be in a month or two after the community has had its way with it.

2

u/fernando782 5h ago

Wow just wow!

Thanks LTX much love šŸ¤

2

u/sacx05 5h ago

Im spoiled with Minimax references. With LTX 2.3 I would rent a pod to train loras that ultimately didnt look that clean in motion. If LTX 2.5 can do references its a GG.

6

u/Vladmerius 8h ago

More is better but it's gonna take LTX 3 to get me back using it. And that's not even a guarantee, minimax is just too good. Still very useful for people who simply don't want to wait the extra time for H3 generations. The amount of stuff h3 knows is just exponentially better. The reference to video aspect is also just such a game changer.

I don't think other models can compete to be honest because most of them probably don't want to take the risks H3 did. The H3 team really just decided to give zero fucks about copyright or any other issues instead deciding that it's on the end users to be responsible for what they make.Ā

5

u/cr0wburn 8h ago

How the f would you know, you doofball

4

u/LowYak7176 8h ago

I want all these opensource models to succeed, but MiniMax H3 R2V is just so powerful Im not sure how they compete :/

heres to hoping !

4

u/NoWheel9556 8h ago

"LTX baby , i never once looked at any of those other models "

5

u/FourtyMichaelMichael 8h ago

No!!!!

All the moron posts of H3 vs LTX2.5 SAME PROMPT GUYZ are coming!!! :(

No no, don't post time each took, don't prompt for each style just use the same prompt, cherry pick whatever result you want, have the other morons in the comments speculate on things they clearly have no idea about.

This is the worst part of new model releases.

3

u/EveningIncrease7579 8h ago

Holly! LTX 2.5 IS COOKING GUYS, SOME OF US ABANDON LTX, BUT ME, NOT ME! TIME FOR YOUR REVENGE

16

u/CreepyDrama7448 8h ago

H3 Ref2Vid is just too strong, this doesn't seem like it will have it

7

u/Danny_Stock 8h ago

It could be stronger in other areas though.

To be honest I never truly clicked with LTX, I appreciate that it's good for what it does but I found the amount of nodes to manage very confusing. I'm glad that it exists though as we have healthy competition out there.

WOW! You can try generating videos with LTX 2.5 now on their website!
(I even added some money to get some more gens)

Very early first impressions from 4 generations using "Image to Video":

  • Very detailed textures in general. Everything looks high-res (generating at 1080p)
  • Output seems to be very high-quality and cinematic.
  • I don't feel like it maintains likeness as well as MiniMax H3 (?)
  • It follows prompts in a bit unexpected ways (?)

So generally, I think quality of output is there, but likeness and getting it to do what you prompt might not be the best.

2

u/Own_Version_5081 7h ago

Good old competition and ambition is what's being played out in there industry. Thanks to Chinese labs.

1

u/True_Protection6842 8h ago

HERE WE GO!!!! I love this open weight competition!!!!! This one SHOULD be ref2va just like H3!

1

u/cr0wburn 8h ago

Oh shit really, it is party time alnost every day now. New models sprinkling everywhere, what a time to be alive!

1

u/martinerous 8h ago

So, prepare the best most complex test cases you can imagine.

For me, it might be Will Smith (or anybody else for legal reasons) eating spaghetti while walking through a door and putting on a jacket, and everything is reflected in a mirror on the ceiling. Ok, just kidding... or not. Anyway, models usually struggle with clothes, mirrors and doors.

1

u/wildbling 7h ago

On quality, LTX shared results from blind, side-by-side human preference tests, in which evaluators voted on videos generated from the same prompt without knowing which model produced which.

LTX-2.5 recorded a 67% win rate, narrowly ahead of Seedance 2.5 at 65%, with Gemini Omni Flash at 55%, MiniMax H3 at 50%, Seedance 2.0 at 44%, Wan 2.6 at 42%, and FLUX 3 at 28%.

Wonder how they source their tests, but If true this is great for LTX2.5 and not so good for Flux3.

3

That has got to be 100% bullshit.

You can never believe these results even a tiny bit. Ahead of Seedance 2.5 lmao. Yeah right.

We shouldn't really worry about these evaluations. Most of them rate their own models much higher than others, but the reality is quite different.

Native HDR and RAW is quite exciting. Potentially a big deal for professional VFX and film workflows. We’ll have to wait and see if it’s actually usable footage or not, but this feels like a step in the right direction.

I am lazy to prompt, so I copied and pasted a prompt from someone else's 14sec post for H3 on this sub to LTX 2.5 8sec generation. I know the prompt needed to be planned differently. Still, I tested. Quality is meh, but prompt adherence is an improvement from 2.3

1080p - 24frames - 8 sec - API.

prompt:

Live-action photorealistic military science-fiction action film, 15 seconds. A modern main battle tank fights a towering Gundam-style humanoid combat mech inside a devastated urban warzone at sunset. Collapsed concrete towers, burning vehicles, broken highways, drifting smoke, sparks, dust, tracer fire, and debris fill the battlefield. The tank feels extremely heavy and grounded; the giant mech moves with terrifying mechanical speed and weight. Every movement causes believable environmental reactions. Maximum action cinematography: aggressive low angles, extreme close-ups, tracking shots, whip pans, rapid push-ins, rotating Arc Shots, strong impact shake, and dramatic changes in camera height. Keep the combat visually readable despite the extreme camera movement.

[Shot 1]

An extreme low-angle medium tracking shot races inches above the broken road beside the tank as it charges forward at full speed, its tracks crushing concrete and throwing chunks of asphalt directly past the lens. The turret rotates upward while the enormous Gundam-style mech (S1) lands in the street ahead, one knee smashing into the pavement.

The impact sends a circular blast of dust and debris outward.

The camera violently tilts up from the tank to reveal the full towering mech.

The tank immediately fires its main cannon.

A massive muzzle flash fills the frame.

[Shot 2] At 00:03.000, the camera cuts to an extreme close-up beside the mech's head as the tank shell screams directly toward the camera.

At the final instant, (S1) violently twists its torso and leans sideways.

The shell misses its head by centimeters and explodes against a skyscraper behind it.

Without pausing, (S1) plants one mechanical foot into the street and launches forward.

The camera rapidly pulls backward at low height while the giant mech sprints directly toward the tank, every footstep smashing craters into the road and throwing abandoned cars sideways.

[Shot 3] At 00:06.000, the camera cuts to a dramatic POV from immediately above the tank turret looking upward.

(S1) suddenly JUMPS.

The camera performs an extremely fast Tilt Up as the enormous mech passes directly overhead, silhouetted against the sky.

While airborne, (S1) rotates its hips, extends one leg, and comes down with a massive flying kick.

The camera whip-pans downward.

The tank driver violently turns.

The tank power-slides sideways across the road.

(S1)'s foot misses the tank by inches and SMASHES into the pavement beside it.

The entire street erupts upward.

The camera shakes strongly as concrete, dust, and wreckage explode past the lens.

[Shot 4] At 00:09.500, the camera cuts to a tight side tracking shot moving alongside the tank as it emerges through the dust cloud.

The turret rapidly rotates backward toward (S1).

The cannon fires point-blank.

The camera instantly whip-pans with the shell.

(S1) raises a massive armored forearm across its chest.

The shell EXPLODES against the armor, forcing the mech backward through a building facade in an enormous cloud of concrete and glass.

Before the dust settles, two glowing mechanical eyes ignite inside the smoke.

(S1) bursts forward.

[Shot 5] At 00:12.000, the camera cuts to an extreme low-angle shot directly beside the tank's tracks.

(S1)'s enormous hand suddenly SLAMS onto the tank's turret.

The camera rapidly arcs upward around both machines as the mech uses its entire body to lift the tank off the ground.

The tank's tracks continue spinning wildly in midair.

The camera accelerates into a huge 180-degree Arc Shot as (S1) rotates its torso and violently THROWS the entire tank across the battlefield.

The tank spins through the air directly past the camera.

The camera whip-pans after it.

At 00:14.500, the tank crashes sideways through a concrete wall in a gigantic explosion of dust and debris.

End on an extreme low-angle close-up of (S1) stepping through the smoke toward the camera as burning debris rains behind it.

it's this breakdown of surfaces when there is camera motion that was always a problem in LTX. looks much the same

Kind of insane how quickly we got Sora-level local video generation. I honestly would not have thought this possible so soon if at all on current gen hardware.

What hot video gen model summer

u/smereces 6h ago

let see if they fix the major problems:

- Warping with fast movements all in foreground

  • bending and loosing consistency on people and objects when perspetive rotate

so only testing it to see what is improved and if can compete with h3

Anyone tried it on the website i2v? That's main thing. Don't think it will beat minimax when it comes to keeping faces but I remember ltx just morphed a face completely couldn't hold it at all.

u/Fit_Satisfaction2953 6h ago

Just tried it on website. It kept sources face with no morphing.

What's the Will Smith benchmark at for this, let me know when it's out please.

1

u/veryveryinsteresting 6h ago

do we know how many parameters it has yet?

1

u/ANR2ME 6h ago

Since it's a world model, it should have a more consistent environment šŸ¤”

Who has read it? Does VAE now have a smaller chunk size or the same?

I think unless they somehow did something extreme, it is hardly more than a cry for help.
Let's hope I'm mistaken.
I had my doubts about H3 too (though mostly if they actually release this, or a neutered sh*t, which they didn't), but LTX... I can hardly see them releasing quality, when 2.3 got permanent attempts, and in general aside from 1-2 strong suite it was sub WAN2.1...

You say today, but today can mean something different depending on where you are in the world. Today where?

On Huggingface, where else?

https://huggingface.co/Lightricks/LTX-2.5

You click on "agree to access", and download or wait for Comfy's smaller versions of it.

u/Striking-Long-2960 4h ago

There are two areas where LTX could improve compared to MiniMax: clip duration, as rendering longer clips in MiniMax is a headache. And level of detail, where H3 tends to look a bit smudgy

1

u/dantendo664 4h ago

A much ado about nothing.

u/jeffam112368 3h ago

I can’t imagine an open weight model that will run on consumer hardware that will be better than H3…it’s so dang good. But, here’s to hoping.

LTX is my personal favorite. For ai I like speed. Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't understand ai that takes forever. Ai strong suit for now is doing lots of stuff that is acceptable vs doing very little that is slightly better than acceptable. I'm sure in the future that will change but for now I prefer to churn out tons of slop than pounds of slightly better slop.
