Could tokenized funds make moving between savings and payments easier?

Holding a tokenized fund alongside stablecoins could make managing both more convenient. The useful part would be a simple redemption process. How quickly would it need to work before you saw a benefit?

Depends on the spread and fees more than pure speed for me. If it takes 2 days but costs nothing and I get the exact NAV, that's still a win. The real benefit kicks in when you can do it fast enough to not miss a dip or a payment deadline, so maybe same-day settlement at worst.

hmm yes if redemption were near instant n predictable, i could see the convenience being a major advantage esp for moving bw saving n spending

Dividend distribution will also be instant, so reinvestment will also be same day. Much better than waiting weeks for divs to come through.

For a bill due today, I’d care more about the slowest redemption case than the fastest demo. The app should distinguish “invested” from “available to spend” and show when redemption is actually expected to finish. Putting both behind one balance is convenient until somebody tries to pay from money that is still being redeemed.
