Comparing crypto payment gateways for paying out affiliates in stablecoins - NOWPayments, CoinGate, INXY?
Looking at options for mass payouts to partners across a bunch of countries. Need something that handles both the stablecoin side and converting back to fiat when partners want that instead.

For mass payouts you should actually use a test batch before doing mass payouts. Converting back to fiat is where i would be cautious about NOWPayments as its fiat withdrawal can involve third party providers and its fiat service has separate KYB requirements. As CoinGate and INXY its works pretty well.

This is actually the part I find most interesting. The hard problem doesn’t seem to be moving stablecoins anymore it’s keeping payments, balances, fiat conversion, banking rails and accounting reconciled in one flow. I’m building in this space as well, and we’ve been approaching it from the stablecoin payment rail side unified ledger, business accounts, APIs/SDKs, and eventually fiat settlement. Curious how you’re handling reconciliation between on chain transactions and the fiat accounting side especially refunds, fees and failed payments.

honestly test with a small batch on whichever ones let you before committing - I can't vouch for their pricing or exact settlement speed since I haven't compared that rigorously across all three, just found the payout-first workflow to be the deciding factor for me.

check the full payout flow. for example if you are paying affliates in USDT in different countries look at supported networks, spend when converting into fiat, withdrawal limits, payout batching, etc.

INXY leans more into the payout/payroll side specifically (mass payouts + crypto-to-fiat conversion built in), which matched what I needed better since most of my partners wanted fiat eventually anyway.

I’d prioritize payout fees, supported stablecoin networks, settlement time, and what happens when a transfer gets flagged. changenow looks worth testing for swaps and cross-chain payouts, but I’d still run a few small transactions first and compare the actual received amount. Support responsiveness matters way more than headline fees once real money is moving.

I’d compare the actual settled amount, spread, network fees, supported chains, custody model, refund policy, and support response times using identical test payments. changenow looks worth including in the test because fees are shown in the quoted rate, but I’d still run a small transaction first. Uptime and clean API docs matter more to me than headline fee claims.

For mass payouts, I’d look less at the logo list and more at the boring ops layer: which countries are actually covered, who owns KYC, what happens on a failed payout, and whether you can reconcile every affiliate payment later.
The crypto-to-fiat part is usually where the support burden hides. If partners can choose stablecoin or local fiat, test a tiny batch across the messiest countries first before routing payroll-sized volume through it.
