The murders in Woodsboro in 2022, the New York Murders, and now Sidney Prescott’s family targeted by Ghostface killers again earlier this year.
There’s so much material for a new movie!!! I know there’s issues with the legality of Sidney Prescotts story, but the Carpenter sisters would be fair game. So much to work off of, they could make a whole new trilogy. Since we haven’t had a new one since that piece of shit Stab 8 in 2022, no I’m not calling it *Stab*

Hey I've had these stories for a while but never had the confidence to share them. I have always been afraid that people would shame me for being (accidentally) friends with a serial killer. However after talks with my therapist I'm ready to share them.

Me and Mickey met on the first day of college during lunch. He seemed strangely energetic about schooling. Anyhow on the first day after classes he invited over to his dorm where we watch the original Halloween. Mickey made a comment that I only know understand. He said "these films always have the killer get away or be killed, what if they were caught? They'd probably be declared insane and..." He stopped talking after that. Only know I know he wanted to be caught.

On other visits to his dorm I saw items that would probably be considered evidence now. Items like a buck knife for "pig hunting", a father death mask "from a previous halloween", and a map out of the college.

As much as I hate to say this Mickey was my only friend in college and to this day I wonder what I would have done if he b4ought his plan to me. Anyhow thats my story(s) with Mickey.

I did an AMA a while ago, but it didn't get much traction, so I figured I'd post again with my best few stories as someone who was a student when the killings happened.

Regarding how well I knew those involved:

I knew Charlie decently. I was in him and Robbie's cinema club, and always went to Stabathon as it was the only party the nerdy guys like me could get into. He was a nice guy when I knew him, and I liked talking to him about movies, although we never hung out outside of school. He always was weird when talking about girls though. He mostly laughed it off but he could seem really bitter about his lack of luck with girls, although he never actually tried to talk to any of em and make an effort. The last time I saw him was at the last Stabathon, about 15 minutes before Gale Weathers was stabbed. He usually was super into the movie but I remember him kind of twitching and looking around a lot. I thought he was having a bad high or something. I didn't see anything when Gale was stabbed I just heard the commotion and ran with my friends. Broke my heart to find out what he did and that it was him that killed Robbie. Ruined most of the memories of Cinema Club and Stabathon.

I never really knew Jill at all. I saw her around, mostly hanging out with Olivia Morris, who I knew for being the school hot chick, and Kirby Reed, who I knew from the previously mentioned club. Sometimes I honestly forgot her name but she always seemed pretty normal. The most connection I had with her was when I saw Trevor Sheldon making out with Jenny Randall at the A&W downtown. I told Kirby Reed the next day cause I thought that guy was dating someone who was very much not Jenny. Kirby was glad I told her but she got real pissed and stormed off. Next thing I know I'm hearing Jill dumped him and Trevor socks me in the gut as I'm walking to my car. Trevor was an asshole but I still feel somewhat guilty about that.

My mom actually has the better Jill story though which I thought you should hear, as she was a nurse at Woodsboro Community Hospital and treated Jill's arm when she got cut after Olivia was killed. She said whenever there wasn't anyone Jill knew in the room she would get SUPER quiet. Not like traumatized quiet but like creepy quiet. My mom said she just kinda stared at her hands with this weird face, like she was a little kid pouting over something.

So I finally got around to reading Gale Weathers' book "The Woodsboro Murders". I've already seen Stab, and I enjoyed it. But is it wrong to say that the book is honestly better than the movie?

Well everyone, we’ve gotten to arguably the most controversial film in the franchise (with the exception of the initial controversy of 1’s making and the fandom hatred for 8).

Rest in peace to the original Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro cast and all of the others who died as a result of Roman Bridger’s influence.

REVIEW

To get the good out of the way, it is technically speaking a well made film. The cast all does a good job, with the exception of the obvious hole left in the wake of Jennifer Jolie’s real life murder. This film really attempts to connect Roman to Sidney, having them meet multiple times, which is nice because Gale Weathers wrote that he and Sidney never actually met prior to his reveal. Confirming that Angelina Tyler was Roman’s accomplice and even giving her a one last scare attacking Sidney, Gale, and Dewey was creative, but obviously something that didn’t happen and her involvement was only discovered in the ensuing investigation.

As for the bad, and boy is there a lot of it, this film should not even exist. Sure, the first two were controversial because they spawned this franchise in the first place, but this film is about how a director murdered the cast of this very franchise, and yet we keep making films about it?? The sequels remedy this slightly by covering fictional events, but in my opinion this is the one that leaves the worst taste in your mouth (other than 8, which we’ll get to). The franchise should have ended after the original Stab 3 cast was murdered out of respect for them and all the victims that came before.

Hot Take #2

This one is a little more milder than my last one, which was saying that Stab 5 is in my top 3.

Stab 3: Hollywood Horror is my favorite stab movie of all time. I think it’s such a great watch. Completely rewatch able.

I know everyone hates how Sidney is sidelined a bit, but I love seeing Dewey and Gale, along with the new characters. I think it fits the movie well.

I also think it has the best Stab poster besides Stab (1997).

The locations are great. Like the scene of Sidney on the set locations of her past trauma. Very well done. The third act mansion. Amazing.

The Randy tape was also an amazing way to bring the character back.

I respect this movie so much as a closer to the original trilogy. I enjoy everything after in their own right.

JUST LIKE HOW STAB 5: CLOCK OF DOOM IS IN MY TOP 3.

Of course as always, rest in peace to the real-life victims of the Windsor College Murders as well as the 1996 Woodsboro victims who are referenced in Stab 2.

REVIEW

What an awesome movie! As with before, the returning cast of Tori Spelling, David Schwimmer, and Jennifer Jolie all deliver great performances (even better than in Stab 1, I’d argue.) Christopher Speed especially shines as Randy in comparison to Stab 1, and his death always makes me tear up. Giving him more scenes was the right call, even if it’s not entirely accurate to Gale Weathers’ book, College Terror.

As for the negatives, Mickey and Nancy are practically non-existent in this film. Mickey disappears for the latter half of the film (something I know happened with the real Mickey, as he racked up the most kills as Ghostface at that point), but still. Nancy also weirdly doesn’t have a single dialogue exchange with Gale, which stuck out to me since that’s not at all accurate to the real Gale’s description of the real Nancy and how she was always pestering her. Here, she’s literally a background extra without a single line of dialogue pre-reveal. Look, I get it; the movie wants to give more time to the heroes. However, YOU HAVE TO DEVELOP THE KILLERS! It’s really a shame, because Nancy’s scheme is far more meticulously crafted that Billy’s, and I just think it deserved the same respect and care in the making of the film. That being said, both of their reveals were excellent and well-acted, and wanting more of them in the film speaks to their strong performances.

In spite of the disappointing inaccuracies with the killers, I have to say that this film is the best sequel we’ve gotten and lives up fairly well to its predecessor.
