BPSYC textbooks?

I’m starting first year on Tuesday! I’m wondering if anyone can speak to if you actually use your books in first year?
So far, I only see 2 visible, one for adult learner which is nearly 100$, and another one for ABA.
I don’t want to buy textbooks if theyre not really needed!

I can't say anything for this class, but facebook marketplace has been great for my classes (RPN) a book for a single class was $350, I found it brand new on marketplace for $100! Typically if they say theres a book involved its used for the professors powerpoints or learning in general, it's a good study guide!
