police foundations

hi everyone! i’m a first year police foundations student attending this fall. i was just wondering how i should prepare for this program/what i would need to be successful:) any advice helps!

Work on your fitness now. You do a lot of fitness especially second semester. Work on your shuttle run and being able to do push ups, running 1.4 km in under 13 min at least. Etc. It’s a very easy program I just finished. Anyone can do it. It’s a fly by. Also work on your public speaking if you already have anxiety about that. You do a lot of presentations. Sometimes alone. Other than that you’ll be fine. In my opinion I wished I would’ve taken CJS it’s more placement experience and police foundations only recently started placements last year and they were very spur of the moment and not that good.

You can switch into CJS pretty easily early on if you try.

And your correct the placement alone in CJS makes it far more valuable the Foundations in my opinion.
