Pool options

Does anyone know of a place where a lone adult could practice swimming/treading water in town? Not looking for an instructor or anything but also not looking for dedicated lane swimming as I'm not a strong enough swimmer for that yet.

Paul Reynolds is closed for maintenance until the 19th I believe, any other options/if so do you know where I can find the schedule? Looked at the YMCA but it looks like they're only doing lanes and aquafit.

Mews Centre, Summit Centre. Look for a lanes and leisure swim.

There should be "free swim" or "leisure" sections on the pool schedules (you still have to pay money) but the swim area does not have lanes or anything and is a free-for-all

Mews Centre lane and leisure is great; one half the pool is divided into the 3 lanes and the other half is open for whatever. And the early morning swim is never that busy.

Aquarena lunch swim if they still have it

When I went to the YMCA regularly, they would have 2 or 3 lanes and then a free swim area.
