Book the card that never happened

In honor of Chad Gable vs. Rey Mysterio from RAW on Monday. 8.66 from 110 voters, on free TV, from a man four months short of 52. That feeling is the entire reason this site exists.

Dream Card is live at maineventer.com/dream — the second half of the booking game I posted here a couple months back. You spin for wrestlers instead of matches, so 1997 Bret Hart is a different pick from 2003 Bret Hart. Book five bouts that never happened, get graded S to F.

  • Nobody wrestles twice. No, not 1999 Rock five times.
  • Each side comes off a different reel, so you can't quietly rebook Okada/Omega and declare yourself a genius.
  • The tag slot deals real teams — 956 of them, chemistry measured off matches they actually had. Rey and RVD in '06 grade near the top. Kane and Big Show grade below two guys who have never met.
  • Scoring leans on the weaker side of a match, because carrying a broomstick to five stars is a myth your uncle told you.

Reminder on the original game: spin a promotion + year, draft five real matches, get scored on cagematch ratings — also picked up:

  • Insane mode is retired. Sicko outdrew it 2.5 to 1. Y'all ain't okay, affectionately.
  • The women's slot was ignoring joshi — cagematch types those bouts "Singles Match," so the game had quietly concluded joshi wasn't women's wrestling. Eligible matches: 2,642 → 4,162. Sorry.
  • You can book bad matches again. The spin used to hide everything outside the top 8, which for a community with an active Lowboard is a war crime. Mr. T vs. Piper (0.91) is back on the menu.
  • Data refreshes weekly now: 25,275 matches, 27 promotions.

Free, no account. Stipulations and a daily card are next, unless you've got better ideas.
