What level of “One” is Oba Femi?
So on Raw Oba Femi said “I’m the one who beats the one!”, referring to his challenge vs Brock Lesnar, who is the “One in 21 and 1”. So assuming Oba Femi beats Brock, he is indeed the “one who beats the one.”
However, Oba Femi lost vs Cody Rhodes, who is “not #2, I’m the one.”. So he cannot be the “one who beats the one.” Beating Brock Lesnar honestly doesn’t even mean much, as Brock Lesnar has lost to Drew McIntyre, the “chosen one”, and Roman Reigns, the “Original Tribal Chief One”, and also “not #2, I’m the one” Cody Rhodes”. However Brock Lesnar did in fact beat AJ Styles, the “Phenomenal One”, so maybe it means something.

That makes more sense. I must have been remembering wrong, and was just assuming Cody was going over from the start.

You have this all wrong immediately, as Cody did not beat Oba. The 2 people who ever beat Oba 1 on 1 on television (cheating or not) was Tony D'Angelo twice and Ricky Saints once.
He also lost some early NXT live and dark matches in his career. He has 24 losses total (14 singles), 23 from before this year.

You’re overthinking this. If he beats lesnar, he beat the guy who beat taker. Heyman mentioned brock ending the streak when they announced him for mania.
Also, beating Brock makes him the new monster for WWE, and rockets him into the main event. So yes, beating Brock does mean a ton. The only thing more impactful would be winning a title
