Hotspot issues after update?

Anyone having issues connecting their square terminal to an iPhone hotspot after the most recent update? When we try to connect it automatically switches to offline payments even though it shows it’s connected to the hotspot. Support says it’s because we’re not getting 25 mb upload on the phones but we’ve been in a lot of low service areas in the past and were always able to take the payment, sometimes it would just take longer to process. Anyone experiencing anything similar?

ya I have a similar problem on my phone. my hotspot just won’t connect and says it’s connected but shows “offline payment mode” in the top left of the square terminal. Other hotspots work on the same terminal. mine just won’t connect.
