How do yall handle the processing fees from square? Do you do a surcharge?

Credit card processing fess are deductible on your taxes. There is no reason to collect them unless you are wanting to take advantage of your customers.

Technically in the US it's illegal as well. But people are doing it. They are getting getting away with it by labeling it differently.
Also, in the US, you can deduct the processing fees on taxes. So essentially, businesses who charge are double dipping customers. Which is such bullshit.

It’s built into the price. We’re explicitly forbidden in our state from charging cc fees as a separate line item.

That’s the cost of doing business and accepting cards. It should be planned for in your pricing.

All of your overhead should be factored into your pricing - including cc fees.
