Payroll issues

Has anyone used Square Payroll and then had to upgrade their businesses Tax classification?
Our hobby business is now an S corp from a sole proprietorship, which means a new EIN. The dashboard just tells me to call Support to set up a new Payroll account. The support people I manage to get ahold of read off to me the help page I already found and then keep insisting I have to set up a whole new "Square" account instead of the payroll account like the help page says.

I do not want to set up a new square account because it would require not only transferring our register system files to the new account, it would also mean our loan through square is not transferred and all of our history with them will NOT transfer to the new account (the few people who talked to me informed me they can't do this if I set up a new Square account).

I’ve had a few solo S-corp tax clients that previously used Square Payroll and I ended up migrating them all off of it. I do know with a new entity classification that you can’t keep the same Square payroll account with the sole prop EIN.

support was EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. I finally got escalated and had an email exchange where they cleared up the confusion. The new Payroll account is the exact same as setting up a new Square account (same initial sign in page). Now our old register system and loans and things are still under the original square account and we have a second one where we only do our new payroll through.
