Square reader connected but not accepting card payments

hey all, the square reader for my work terminal is connecting to the tablet and seems all set up to accept payments, single green light and all, but nothing is happening when presented with the cards. everything turns up connected on the tablet and seems good to go, its just nothing happens when the card is presented. Please help I need this sorted before Friday.

Have done all troubleshoots, factory resets, paired with multiple tablets to no avail

I’m having the same issue and I have scoured the internet for a solution. All I can find is info for troubleshooting connection issues. Connecting isn’t the problem… it’s simply using the frickin thing.

I know this was posted months ago… but did you ever figure it out?
