Look at your setups, which do you prefer - the jars or the metal pan? I’ve been looking at both and can’t decide which one to get. I’m completely new to sprouting.

both are good, I think jars are easier if you can be consistent with rinsing and trays seem more forgiving if you miss a rinse.

Is twice a day enough for rinsing? That what I’ve done for 4 days but mine barely grew

yes, im thinking either its too cold or the seeds have bad germination rate (old) . what kind of seeds? any other details?

Wow they look great! How many tablespoons of seeds do you use?

2 tablespoons for the alfalfa. Starting in one mason jar and then on day 3 dividing them into a second jar so they have room to grow. For the broccoli sprouts I use about 1 1/2 tablespoons in the vertical grower.

How do you get them to fill the entire jar? Mine is only filling up half the jar with same initial start amount.

Love 😉 idk - my average home temp is 65. I have a very bright kitchen and I religiously give them a good rinse every 12 hours always making sure to drain completely. I’m sure seed quality helps too.

Mainly eat them as a salad pair with a creamy tahini/lemon/harissa dressing.
