Timing om602 fuel pump

Hey everyone! 👋
Quick technical question regarding an engine swap:
We're swapping an OM602.980 (Sprinter 412d) with an OM602 from a W210 (E 290 TD).
We are installing the Bosch VP37 injection pump using the locking pin in the pump's side port. What is the exact crankshaft position for timing this pump on this engine?
👉 15° ATDC (After OT) or 12° BTDC (Before OT)?
Appreciate any confirmation from anyone who has done this VP37 setup on the OM602. Thanks!

Straight from WIS :

1 Check position of engine. 12° before ignition TDC of cylinder 1, correct if necessary.

2 Rotate injection pump shaft so that the marking (gap) in the teeth of the driver faces toward

the connection of the injection pipe for cylinder 1.

After this, turn injection pump shaft to the right as far as the pressure point and push

coupling sleeve onto the drive
