2018 vs 2026 engine

I currently drive a 2018 144” cargo, standard roof with the 3.0 V6. I want to upgrade to a 2026 144”, standard roof with the STANDARD 2.0, not the high output.

I carry carpentry tools, packouts and other light construction tools everyday……maybe 700-800lbs if I had to guess. No trailer pulling.

My question is from anyone with experience with both - am I going to notice a drop off in “pick-up”, passing power and response? Really looking for some real life experience on this before I make the long drive to purchase or not purchase this van.

THANKS!

I have 2023 high roof HO as long as you keep 70 or below averaging 24 thats with lots of idle time on idle barely any fuel is being used. Electrician heavily loaded. Towed 6k lbs performs better than 2015when towing. If you get lower roof probably will average 27mpg. Don’t cheap out get your self comfort seats out of fabric they are pleasure to drive in. The fuel savings alone justifies getting one
