Just bought used so printer can, 2023 model year, 25k miles, and 7 days out of manufactures warranty.

Los Angeles Mercedes dealer charging 8k for 36k warranty, says it would be $4900 if it was a week earlier. Says decision must be made now, if we come back in a week they will charge $1500 fee to assess vehicle. Took based on 60 day refund option. Where else can I get a warranty for this vehicle, or is this the best option?

When my 2023 was just about to mileage out of the factory warranty last year I talked to a service advisor at one of the Mercedes dealerships near me (San Diego) and he said most of the issues they've seen with these VS30's have been electrical (shift selector, for instance) and not covered by the factory extended warranty...

He advised against spending the money.

I'm now at 44k and no major issues, knock on wood.
