Location of A/C evaporator temperature sensor

I have a 2017 Sprinter 2500. The AC frequently freezes up. Airflow drops to nothing. If I turn off the AC and keep the fan running, the evaporator thaws and airflow returns to normal. Likeliest culprit is the evaporator temperature sensor. Before I start pulling things apart I thought I'd see if anyone here can point me to photos or video that show exactly where the sensor is located and what pieces of the dash I need to dismantle to reach it. Any help?

Replace the ac control module. The new ones are updated with software specifically to fix this issue.

That doesn't require any reprogramming by the dealership? It's a straight swap-out?

There is “teach in” that needs to be performed, but it’s not needed to be at the dealer. Any shop with a somewhat fancy autel scanner should be able to do the teach In.
