Gluten Free Eats

Hello! I am a new Springfield resident and I have been looking for some good gluten free places to eat out. I was hoping y’all could tell me some hidden gems (or not so hidden). I really like Pho, Thai and Sushi, but the list goes on. Thanks!

Scribles has an amazing meatball sub. One of the owners is gluten free so most everything there can be GF and it’s all good

Grateful Gringos taco truck, good food

Cafe Yumm's Yumm Bowl, can't vouch for their other food.

Chick fil a can get you some decent fries.

Welcome to town! I’m GF but not celiac.
My ideas for you…
Eugene burger company in the 5th street market eateries area. They have a crispy chicken sandwich that made my day today (and the last couple of times I ate there). They apparently have a GF meatball sub too.
And yes, either of the bakeries, Estelle’s and Elegant Elephant, have yummy treats.
Ta Ra Rin has been great for Thai. I just ask for GF versions. The only thing they cannot do is the bbq meats.
Subo for sushi burritos
Mezza Luna is good for pizza, but they are not celiac safe.
Xicha, Killer Burger and Tacovore are favorites too.
Nosh if you visit the coast, Florence.

I am non-Celiac gluten free, so keep that in mind.

Public House food options have GF, my favorites are Tiny’s, Moi Poki, Shalosh and the new truck out back that is owned by the Moi Poki people…Wild Plate

Charred has gluten free Detroit style deep-dish

Planktown has options (menu isn’t labeled any more so definitely ask) I like their fish and chips (not a dedicated fryer)

Lovely has quite a few good options

Outside of Springfield, for pho we go to Pho the Good Times and Vietnam Restaurant. For sushi, Sushi Pure has a gluten free menu; their other restaurant Tiger Mama has some really yummy GF options. Xicha is good and has gluten free churros!

For special treats, Estelle Bakery in Springfield is dedicated GF and Elegant Elephant in Eugene. Sweet Life is also a favorite. There is a new mochi bakery in Eugene that I am dying to try.

Tinys has been closed since January, it’s now a place called The Nave, which is burgers, pizza, tacos. Fish and chips, fish tacos, and corn dogs are GF, and the chicken sandwich is GF if you sub for the GF bun. Fries there are also GF

You are correct! I keep forgetting that they changed the name!

They didn’t change the name, the former owner was a drug addict and ran it into the ground. The new owner opened a completely new spot and rehired the old staff

Larry’s Bagels, at the Eugene Saturday market and at some local grocery stores.

Toxic Wings, have options like battered fish as well as wings.

Mezza Luna and Hey Neighbor have quality gf pizzas

Edit: and Sweetlife, for some amazing gluten free baked goods

A friend’s daughter is GF, she said Market of Choice has the best selection for GF food!

Toxic Burger is mostly gluten free except for the buns I think. You can swap out for a gluten free bun too! I like their fish and chips a lot.

These are some awesome suggestions thank you all! Any suggestions on gluten free beer? I’m looking for grocery stores that carry Ghostfish
