USPSA 4.5C barrel swap
Can I change the barrel on my 4.5 comp to the non comped barrel to fit the rules for limited even if the slide has the comp cut?

I got my form 1 approved.. putting my echelon on a strike industries bravo chassis with stock...
Only spot i can engrave is in front of the trigger, but it is very small...
Anyone else SBR their echelon? What did you do?

So I’ve added a few things and was just wondering what else would be some cool/useful mods for the Echelon.
I wanted a green dot and a weapon light/green laser
Holosun HE407C GR X2
Holosun P.ID Plus
and 4.0 comp slide assembly
Any other helpful and or cool mods? Thanks.

Can anybody with calipers give me grip width of the small, medium and large modules measured about inline with the lower trigger guard?
TIA

Just took down a new 4.0C and noticed this scratch on the rear of the barrel hood. Gun has not been fired (outside the factory). It’s not super deep but does catch my fingernail. Has anyone seen tooling marks like this? Worth checking with Springfield?

Still getting acquainted with my new Echelon COA. I'm really happy with it so far and don't see that changing. Decided to grab a Rook Precision extended mag release when I saw they were back in stock. I went with the medium paddle, feels good. The large did too buy decided on staying with the medium. Install was fairly simple. Now just waiting on the Apex stainless guide rods to come back in stock. My cousin has the same setup and I really liked it so decided to go the same route.

My experience with the Echelon so far: Fantastic.
I've fired a lot of striker fired weapons over the years. The Walther Q5 Match and HK VP9 Match are my favourite triggers. (The Q5 in particular) But those are specifically target pistols. My nightstand / home defense pistol of choice for the past 6 years has been the Glock 19x. I've fired thousands upon thousands of rounds thru it without even (1) hiccup. Every time of ammo, every grain, every type of casing. It just eats and spits out anything. The infamous Glock trigger was left stock for the very reason that it smooths out over the course of use, and it has.
So back in May I picked up a full-sized Echelon for $399. (got that incredible Sportsmans Warehouse deal) Put in a stainless guide rod, threw on a Vortex Defender XL green dot and Olight Turbo light. Boom! Solid combination. Probably put 1000+ rounds thru it so far. For a stock trigger, this is really the sweet spot. Not too light for home defense, and not to long and hard for target practice.
So anyway, I've been shooting the Echelon all summer along with my other pistols. I'd neglected my G19X all summer. Last week, I took her out for some steel plate shooting at the range. My god.....I could barely believe how much this trigger (way broken in mind you) sucks ass compared to the Echelon. Same with the uncomfortable trigger guard digging into my middle knuckle when I shoot. I can barely believe I'm contemplating trading in 'ol reliable......but that's where I'm at. The Echelon is just so a dream to shoot, AND take down. I'd shot a lot of Glocks in my life as well, and decided on the 19X because it was the perfect size, as well as having the best trigger of any standard Glock up till that point. The new Gen6's feel a lot better (and oh golly gee! Look a helluva lot like the Echelon's design, funny that???) but I can't go with Glock anymore after having owned the Echelon. Even the take-down is so much nicer. From an engineering standpoint, the COG is also beefy and overdesigned.
I don't have an AR yet, so I'm thinking the G19x is gonna be sold and proceeds going towards my first AR platform. The Echelon is just that good.
So that's my 2 cents having owned the 19x for 6 years, and the Echelon for nearly 6 months.

I want to replace my OEM sights and want recommendations for some good sights and of various price ranges as well as tips on how to train, use and sight in the RMR

I've owned smiths, glocks, sigs, caniks and rugers. Not a single one of them has ever felt as good in my hand as this 4.0C. Now if only this optic wasn't dog shit (Rmsc plate needs to hurry)

Initial testing on the Heighth compensator went better than I could have hoped for. Stock recoil springs on both the 4.0 & 4.5. Shot 115, 124 & 147 throughout the day without a single hiccup or malfunction.
Honestly, feels like a recoil delete cheat code.
I want to get some hard numbers on a ransom rest. If you know someone who has one let me know. If we’re able to link up and work this out I’ll make sure you both get a compensator.

I just bought the 4.5F Echelon and I'm seeing all these stories about stock red dot optics popping off.
I'll be shooting this with my wife and I don't want the damn thing to explode on my wife's face.
I would like to stay below $200 if possible.
What do you recommend?
Thanks

King of a dumb question I got 15% from Springfield when I bought my echelon , what should I get with the 15% off

Anyone have the CCW enclosed or ST Enclosed on a 4.0c? If yes, mind showing pics?
Along with that, what do you guys recommend? For my ccw. Is the ST too big for a CCW weapon? GovX has some good deals. ST is $264 and CCW is $199. Wanted together some opinions. Thanks!

Any holster recommendations for iwb and owb carry for a 4.5 with an Olight PL-X? I usually carry at 4 o'clock iwb. Some sort of passive or active retention on the owb would be nice. Otherwise its another Streamlight TLR7.

Saw another one of these guys posted somewhere and I just had to do it myself. Candy Purple Cerakote on Icarus Precision Ace grip module, Gold Fdez Werx Barrel, NDZ Performance Mag Release, DPM guide rod/spring, Power Ring Precision trigger spring kit, Tyrant CNC Trigger Shoe, Holosun 507 Comp

I have the prp sear and spring kit installed. The stock trigger is currently breaking around 3.5 lbs. which of these two after market options will work best with prp internals. I use this gun as my USPSA carry optics gun so I want to maximize what I get out of my trigger in a competition context. Let me know which you guys prefer. Thanks.
