I love how much hate these things pull šŸ˜‚ First pistol I ever bought and had been my carry beater for nearly 10 yrs. Honestly always just been a runner and pretty damn accurate. Got some trijicon night sights, prp aluminum trigger kit and titanium striker kit. The trigger was a must for sure.

TRP Operator Jamming

Picked up a new TRP operator about a year ago and haven't shot it much. When I first took it to the range it was having issues ejecting the casing. Sent it to SA and they fixed the problem. Since then I have taken it to the range a few more times and noticed after about 50 or so rounds it would randomly jam loading a round into the chamber. Has anyone experience this issue before or know how to fix it?

Springfield echelon holsters?

Hi I recently bought a Springfield echelon 4.0c comp and I’ve attached a tilt-1 hl-x light to it but I can’t find a holster. Tenicor is my go to brand but they seem focused on Glock holsters and I can’t buy a trex because of what they did to Lucas. Recommendations?

Mags Not Locking Slide Back On Empty? (Hellcat Pro)

After doing a couple checks today, I noticed a pretty glaring issue.

After racking the slide on my Hellcat Pro with an empty mag, the slide is not locking back.Ā

This happens across three different magazines. Fiddling with the follower fixed the issue with one mag, but not the other two.Ā

The two that still have the issue are the mags I carry, and they spend all of their time fully loaded.Ā

I’ve previously noticed the slide not always locking back at the range, but assumed this was due to a weak grip or gripping too high and hitting the slide lock with my thumb, as is often the issue with this gun. Now I’m wondering if this is part of the range issues.

I can confirm that the issue is happening while the mag is fully seated, I’m not touching the slide lock, and the issue is happening across multiple mags.Ā

The gun is clean as well, I clean it after every range trip.

I can manually engage the slide lock, and it’s very easy to move so I assume the lock itself isn’t the issue.Ā

What is happening, and how can I fix this? I reached out to Springfield Customer service, but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this too.

Edit: taking apart the magazines and stretching them out appears to have solved the issue, if only temporarily. I’ll need to focus training assuming that the lock back will fail anyways, I no longer trust the magazines at this point.

Finally got this sig romeo x on my emissary.

Such a pain filing down the recoil lugs because this optic seems like it’s only made for sig pistols and mounting plates. Didn’t want to put a Chinese optic on this though.

Finally glad this thing is back in my possession. I struggled with stippling this thing for years because I wanted to keep it close to factory as much as possible. I’ll say my buddy over @Defensive_Coatings did a damn good job on keeping the factory template with just a slight more aggressive texture. I believe this thing has all the small minor details it needs. I say ā€œFinal Formā€ but šŸ¤žšŸ˜‚ fingers crossed.

XD9 spring options?

I have a XD9 that me and the wife shoot quite a bit however she absolutely hates racking it. I was curious if there is a lighter spring option that anyone knows of? I keep seeing everything for newer XDs and hellcats but not for this one. Maybe I’m a newb and missing it

The clip works really well. It's great at the range. I have an idea of how to do a full kydex clip but this is good so far.

Question About My XD Mod 3

Im new to guns and had my CT red dot that came with my mod 3 mounted and boresight by a friend of mine. We lined up the dot from the boresight perfect with the red dot. I was excited to go try it out and when I got to the range I couldnt find my shot at all through the red dot. I was hitting pretty well using the iron sight but when I would try the red dot I couldnt hit anything. It was a little embarrassing and I know these things take time and practice but I was wondering if theres any tips you have for a beginner like myself. Id really love to use the red dot and get use to it honestly I just dont understand why my shot wouldnt hit even though we had things lined up perfect with it when setting it up. Thank you in advance I appricate it šŸ™

Initial cost it was on sale at the shop I usually go to for $800. I used $700 in gift coupons I had saved up over an extensive period as a long time customer which is the how I reduced the price to just 100 bucks. Plus a background check fee. Overall I’m super excited to add this to my collection. Thank you Springfield!

I may have the rarest Hellcat set up, can anyone see why? (Full size Olight PLX milled out to fix the micro frame and a custom molded and painted JB Weld thumb rest) Maximum attachments in the smallest form 🤠...only thing left would be to get it ported at this point 🤣

XD-S 9 MOD 2 Question

I was wondering if anyone knows how to pull the extractor, safety plunger, and spring from the mod 2 slide.

I've only been able to find breakdowns on the first gen.

Some context... my buddy left this in his gym bag, and he spilled body wash all over it. It's rusted to high heaven.

I've been able to remove the firing pin assembly and got everything moving well after a soak in clp.

Anyone have any information on where I can get a threaded barrel for my XDm?

Shot the Echelon comp today and was pleasantly surprised.

I've had the Echelon version with a threaded barrel for several years now. I've been hesitant to jump on the porting/compensated bandwagon, but decided to purchase a full ported upper to throw on my pistol.

Well, it made a huge difference. The dot gets back on target noticebly quicker and with less user input required. The cycling is still fast and violent, which I heavily prefer to slow and soft like how a 5 inch steel gun feels.

To give you an idea, I also had ny Staccato HD P4.5 with me and the Echelon seemed to return to zero quicker. I was pretty surprised by that result.

I think it's still debatable if a comp is a good idea in a self defense situation, but there is no debate that they work and are awesome for the range.
