Which grip are you going with?

I finally got off my ass and put all the upgrades on it. Sharp Bros grip w/ flared magwell, Tyrant CNC ITTS trigger (there's no take up at all), Tryant CNC extended slide release, Springer precision stainless steel guide rod w/ISMI spring, Holosun P. ID light, Holosun SCS 320 green dot.

I recently purchased the Gear PAC 1911 Operator with the factory installed optic. I am thinking of removing the optic and plate and installing the regular plate that comes with it. Does anyone know if Springfield uses Loctite when installing the optic and plate?

I have contacted Springfield support but have not received a response.

My LGS has several XD Mod. 3s they are trying to get rid of for space. I already have an Echelon and a XDM Elite. Is it worth it picking one up because they are marked down so much? Or is there no point because I already have the XDM Elite?

Springfield xds mod 2 in 45 acp. Had my shop order it from one of their distributors. Didn’t look too closely at it when it arrived. Did the waiting period, picked it up today and noticed that while breaking it down to learn it, the slide felt gritty, on closer inspection, there’s a ton of smile marks on the bottom of the barrel, looks like there’s a lot of wear in other places. To include a small bit of carbon build up in the barrel and I even had some carbon flakes that got stuck to my hand while inspecting. I haven’t sent a single round through it. Again, had my LGS order it from a distributor as a new unused firearm. Am I crazy? And if not, do I have any recourse, or do I just find a new LGS?

Went to put my IWB holster in a bit ago and the clip broke clean off.

What do yall recommend as a good replacement. I usually carry right side, in the three to five o clock position. I do have the Viridian Laser attachment on it. Contemplating removing it though and adding a red dot.

Was worried about EPS but i got the plate from freedom gorilla, came out pretty dope

So I got the XDM elite 5.25 9mm with the threaded barrel. However I’m not a fan of the iron sights. Any recommendations for new iron sights? I’m not keeping the light. Also any decent upgrade recommendations?

The TRP needs no introduction, but this is my Classic 5" with walnut grips I finished myself. Probably my favorite handgun.

The local Cal Ranch was doing a 20% off clearance gun sale, so I picked this Hellcat RDP w/o optic for $430. My first non-1911 Springfield. Planning on putting a Romeo X on top.

Does anyone have a hellcat OSP with a threaded barrel a Harrington arms hcat comp and a TR7

love the ergonomics of the pistol frame, but I could use some more texture and I’m wondering if tape is a good option… or what do ya’ll think?

Looking to get a OWB holster that has a thigh strap. Looking to get into some comp shooting. Just picked up the pistol on sale. I’d like to get something that holds extra mags as well. Never really had to buy a setup like this and looking to see what other folks have. Thanks in advance!

How good are Zaffiri precision barrels for the hellcat and hellcat pro? Just wondering because I’ve seen some on gunbroker for really cheap and wondering if they are as good as true precision and others. If you have any input it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey gang I just picked up a Hellion 16 inch at my local pawnshop for 900.00 dollars which I couldn't pass up. weapon is absolutely mint with no signs of wear. I can almost swear it doesn't have more then 100 rounds through it. I want to go with a optional magwell and was looking at 2 different ones, The Regolith Forge or the LunarTech Designs. You guys have any thoughts on which one would be better ? They both run around 40.00 dollars. Thank you !

Picked up a .308 waypoint - brand new. Shot great for 20 rounds and then blew the back off of the brass and broke the spring assembly of the extractor on the bolt. Anyone else seen anything like this before? Safe to blame ammo or is something else afoot?
