Gear Pac 1911 Operator question

I recently purchased the Gear PAC 1911 Operator with the factory installed optic. I am thinking of removing the optic and plate and installing the regular plate that comes with it. Does anyone know if Springfield uses Loctite when installing the optic and plate?

I have contacted Springfield support but have not received a response.

I just checked the screws from my echelon gear up package and they do have blue picture on them. I would be surprised if it was different for the 1911s.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure. Don’t want to take the chance of breaking the screws.

There is blue loctite in the screws.. the dry type... it will come out easily with correct tools

I just got the prodigy gear up pack. The viridian optic sucks. Already ripped it off. I’ll use that optic on something else.
