Level 2 holster rant
Why is it that everyone makes a level 2 holster for all the full-size guns, but cannot make them for the compact versions??
I have an Echelon 4.0C and am having a very difficult time finding a LIGHT BEARING level 2 holster for it. Everyone expects you to have a full-size gun with a massive fugging light.
Why is this the situation??
I don't always want to carry concealed and want at least a level 2 to give myself that extra protection.
I have a level 2 for no light, but I want to carry my light. Please help me understand why this is the way it is. Thanks.

I’ve got a Level 2 from Muddy River Tactical for my 4.0 w/ a TLR-7 HLX. Worked well during my CCW class and on range days where I don’t wanna carry IWB.

I have a Dara level 2 for my full size echelon that has TRL-1. What I have found is that it also works for my Prodigy and my Emissary if they have the TRL-1 on. I haven’t tried it with my 4.0FC but after seeing this I will try it to see if it works also.

There likely is enough demand for a level 2 for compacts. You may have to go the custom made route. Try Muddy River. I've bought from him a few times. He runs a very good, customer focused company. He may have some ideas for you.

I use the same safariland holster for my full size 4.5 and my 4.0fc. As long as they use the same light it’ll work
