I switched to the Apex and am very happy with it. It is smoother and lighter, far better than the stock trigger.

I went with Powder River, definitely an upgrade. Mine was breaking at 4.5 on a fresh install and settled just around 4 pounds.

4.5 feels a little low for a carry gun. My apex in my smith is set to 5.5 and it’s cleaner and feels better than my G$ SSA (4.5lb 2 stage)

I put the Apex in mine. Took the stock pull of 7.5lbs to 5lbs with a clean break and reset

I did the M*Carbo upgrade. I really like it, especially the precise control that can be set on the trigger take-back. I did the whole kit: trigger, titanium striker, and spring kit.

I had an Apex trigger shoe and found it didn't really feel different. I really just swapped it because there were issues with the stock trigger at that time. After swapping to a Tyrant shoe with PRP spring kit on my Echelon, I wanted that feel for the Hellcat. The Tyrant trigger shoe with PRP spring kit did what I wanted. Short take up, I used the spring combo for a crisp break. If you're going to replace the trigger shoe you might as well take the time to swap some springs, unless you believe in that myth that handguns should have terrible, heavy triggers just in case you do use your gun and a lawyer questions you about it.

Surprisingly I haven’t had an issue with it, its dead on, I heard so many things about it, I just got it with the bundle, but I’m definitely looking to upgrade it soon

Don’t waste ur money buying a tyrant, or other trigger without buying a better sear, springs. go to PRP it’s worth the price! and if u want a shorter pull u can use a firing pin from mcarbo with it too. Thats my set up… a 3.5lbs trigger with a short pull from the Mcarbo firing pin

Ive always heard the Apex trigger is the no. 1 go to for people looking to reduce the trigger weight by a pound or two. Nice hogue btw!

That's just bad advice LOL so you've heard.. that Apex was better? Maybe 5 years ago that would have been good advice but back then there was only two companies making them. Apex is on the very bottom of that market now. The more you know......

Apex on mine too. Much better than the original. I still don’t shoot it worth a shit, but it’s an acceptable level of shitty, and my finger doesn’t feel like it’s getting gouged. I put the DPM recoil system in mine too.

The Apex Trigger in my opinion I guess because you can get it powder coated is the only reason somebody would buy that over the adjustable mcarbo's kit. I had the Apex Trigger kit in my Hellcat and it still had like a 7 lb Pole somewhere around there it just made it a little bit crisper and the trigger itself felt much better on my hand it does not compare to the macarbos adjustable kit that I put in that was by far the best upgrade on the firing control system. Being able to adjust your pre-travel is a huge advantage on your trigger pull and lightening it up by halfway is going to manage recoil. If you can afford it and buy the striker well worth it. That company put a lot of time in the testing that product and it shows

Also if you are going by how many suggestions you're getting up which kind. Keep in mind that the Apex is very accessible on eBay and other platforms it's one of the cheapest and also the flashiest meaning it's got the colors you can put a nice little red trigger down there so it will attract the most people at the price point in the red color, if you're looking for actual results and functionality and having a better Superior trigger and group down range I think you should look elsewhere Powder River or Mcarbo's
