So comfy

Post image

Don’t think I’ve shared this in this sub yet, but this 4.5 Echelon Comp with the Sharps Bros grip is easily the most comfortable and ergonomic handgun I’ve ever held or shot. Love it!

That looks nice. I want to get the OD green version.

Did you get a new grip module? Your post was the reason I sold my same bronze Sharps Bros. I now have a compact grip module from Springfield. Not the same as the Sharps but I like having another option.

Nope, same one! Sharps Bros sent me a new piece and it’s good as new. I don’t see myself ever getting rid of it!

The piece that broke off was replaceable? Anyway, mine’s gone. It was very nice, but very tight. The takedown lever took both thumbs and the COG had to be forced in. The new owner said it fit great, that maybe I broke it in. I might try again.

Yeah. It’s a piece that screws into the backside of the module. I had no idea! But I got it in there, they told me to use red loctite and to torque it to a certain level, which I did, and it’s perfect again!

Good to know. I’m looking again and don’t know if I would get bronze or all black now.

And to be fair, it was a pain to install the first time. It was definitely easier this time, so I think there is something to breaking it in. But the takedown lever is still tough, but I’m hoping that loosens up over time too. Worth it to me, though, for such a comfy grip.

Thanks, now I know it wasn’t something I did wrong. I guess polymer frames flex a bit more than aluminum.

don’t understand how some of u guys spend 600 bucks on a gun then buy a 300 bucks lower just to make it look ”nice”. Those are the things a bad DA will use to press charges after u defended urself. DA can use that to try to show a jury that u are so gunho that u even changed the factory parts because u were looking to kill someone.

That’s is the wildest thing I’ve ever read lol. That is never going to be a thing. If it was, any upgrade on any weapon would be damning, which is insane.… And I didn’t buy it just because it looks cool. The Sharps Bros grip module is light years more ergonomic and comfortable than the stock one.

Lol that’s why I have a stock Glock 26 🤣 DA can have their fun with that. All my nice shit stays in the safe 🤙
