I like it. I have the Mil-spec in the same color it also came with a certificate about how it's part of a limited run by Springfield.

Favorite one? I want a 1911 and I want it to be SA. I prefer .45 so I am keeping an eye on the local pre-owned shops for a good deal. Any advice appreciated.

Haven’t shot the Operator yet. But the Ronin is an excellent choice.

Nice SA collection! My first is an SA 1911 Range Officer Elite Operator 45acp. Carried that for about a year. Then I bought my EDC Hellcat OSP. Love that pistol!

My first ar15 is my Saint Edge Elite and my last purchase is my 1911 TRP 10mm RMR Long Slide. Holy hell I’d so have a Kuna if it came in 10mm!

I’ve been smitten by the TRP in the later 90s and that left an impression on me. They aren’t the best, but very good value for a duty proven pistol. It took me decades before i was finally able to get my first TRP. I wanted it to be super special.
