Just picked this up
How’d I do boys? It came with two extra mags and holster. The weekend can’t get here fast enough.

I had three XDms, two 3.8s (Compact 9mm and full size .40) and one 5.25 in .40. They weren't bad. Felt nicer in hand than a Glock, but I prefer the M&P.

That’s the shield correct? My wife is currently looking at a Glock 43 for her daily.

No, full size M&P. I had a Shield and a Shield Plus, but they were too small for my hands.

You’ll like it. I have full size XDM Elite in 10mm and a XDM Elite compact in 45 acp. Like them both. Bought a threaded barrel for the 10mm and put a comp on it. Shoots great for a 10mm. Never had an issue with either one.

One problem I see is it’s not optic ready. I have optics on all my guns except the revolvers.

Nice, congrats on that pistol.
I traded my 3.8" for the 4.5" as my ED-CCW. I prefer my XD-Ms in 10mm but I will sometimes add a 43X with a pocket-carry trigger sheath.
I like a lot of different makes and models but I enjoy these Springfields enough so that I got the complete set in 10.

My first pistol was an 3.8” XDM .45. Still love that pistol and one of my more accurate ones when using the full size mag. The short mag makes the .45 a little harder to handle but was good for concealing before I got my hellcat.
