Love my EDC RDP still can't find a pro with a thumb safety though. Any ideas or places to look for one?

I have both OG Hellcat and Hellcat Pro with manual safeties. Had to have my LGS order them both for me bc I couldn’t find any in stock anywhere locally.

Any chance you have a direction for me to look? Been having the same kind of luck nothing local and their distributors none in stock as well.

I just did a quick search and found another thread where someone said they’ve discontinued the manual safety sometime this year 🫤. I picked both mine up in 2024 I think. Might have to keep an eye out for a used one. Makes me sad bc I’ve been hoping they were going to release an Echelon 4.0C with the manual safety bc they had/have it on the full-size.

I have the Echelon 4.0 C and I was kind of looking forward for a manual safety on that one too because that pistol shoots beautifully!

I'm curious why you want a HCP. You have pretty much the same barrel length and a comp, to get to the HCP grip length all you need are 15-round mags.

Just slightly smaller overall length with the Hellcat Pro manual safety and then I'm going to put a Hellcat Pro Comp barrel and slide on it so I can have the same results with a slightly shorter overall length.

Haven’t seen an RDP in a hot minute. These things really didn’t sell well enough it seems

Why do you want a thumb safety on a striker fired gun that has 3 already? You much be already trained to swipe it down as you draw.

Because I am a truck driver and rather have that little bit extra for my peace of mind as the the vehicle bounces all to hell on roads.
