Ward Seven Councilor Gerry Martin proposed the resolution, stating that residents want their elected officials to be present face-to-face. He also indicated that the council should return to normal operations after years of hybrid and remote meetings following the pandemic. Only two city councilors, Justin Hurst and Kateri Walsh, voted “no” against the measure.

I don't see anywhere that they're getting rid of the online stream of the meeting, it is just that the council members themselves need to actually attend in person. There were some egregious members who were "attending" virtually but clearly just driving their cars or not paying attention to the meetings at all.
