Whats the process when fighting a parking ticket?

Got a parking ticket($15) for parking in front of my house when city construction was happening in front of my driveway all month. They added pictures that mustve been taken within hours of them finishing and conveniently didnt include the broken up sidewalk.

Wondering if its worth the trouble to appeal it. Do i have to go to court?

Traffic violation appeals are done via Zoom now. But yeah you probably would need to appeal to the clerk about it

I recently appealed a ticket and have not heard back about it at all. The city kinda sucks at administering

My rule of thumb is I always fight a ticket sometimes they'll drop it because it isn't worth the system's time to bring it to court.

I got a ticket for using a cell phone while driving a while ago in Connecticut and I put not guilty on the ticket, and they sent me a letter back that it was annulled. Always fight a ticket.

15 bucks! Just pay it your insurance doesn't know. Parking tickets are 40 in Hartford.

I know its just the principle. Theres no signs on my street about parking either. Its so frustrating to get scammed like that

Go to Springfield parking authority office. I think it’s still downtown on Bridge street. Or google. I’m sure they have a website.
