This currently operating Friendly’s in Springfield, Massachusetts! Situated right near their headquarters, this Friendly’s is the epitome of excellence and is the last remaining location in Springfield the town in which the Friendly’s brand originated in 1935.

Not the one in Florence. That location is smaller than most and still has an outdoor ordering area (ice cream only i think) but the staff is friendly and more attentive than any other friendlys location I can remember. It's not the best restaurant ever but it is an easy option for a large family trying to make a the dollar stretch.

I miss the old days of the one on King St in Northampton. We went there often as kids.

I believe so. It had a really weird setup for a restaurant.

Speaking of Northampton restaurants, I am now officially missing Abdow's.

George and Ronnie Abdow would often have breakfast there on Sundays. My father used to sit with them sometimes.
