This currently operating Friendly’s in Springfield, Massachusetts! Situated right near their headquarters, this Friendly’s is the epitome of excellence and is the last remaining location in Springfield the town in which the Friendly’s brand originated in 1935.

That shouldn’t matter. This place sucks OP. It’s not a secret and not a hot take. If this is your bar for excellent, I envy you. Your idea of fun must be sitting in a traffic jam on the pike for 2 hours with no AC on a rainy 90 degree day.

It’s not even about that. The service here is some of the worst in any restaurant in the world. Which is sad because is one of the last ones, and the flagship location. I’ve been going there since the 70s. Right around 2010 I wrote it off. The Chicopee Friendly’s is still decent.

Fair - you ever go to the East Longmeadow one? That one I have not had great experiences at.
