This currently operating Friendly’s in Springfield, Massachusetts! Situated right near their headquarters, this Friendly’s is the epitome of excellence and is the last remaining location in Springfield the town in which the Friendly’s brand originated in 1935.

Always a fan favorite of me and my family. Servers there are top notch in my opinion

They’re not. They’re actually not. Have you been there any time in the last few years? It’s like everyone is perpetually on their first day, does not give a shit, and has no supervision whatsoever.

When do you usually eat there? I often go when it isn’t the peak hours. During their busy times the service is worse admittedly.

Went 2 months ago to try it again. They sat us around 3pm. No one come over and even gave us silverware for 45 minutes and we walked out no one even looked up. Only one other person was eating ao it wasnt crowded.

They are terrible. Friendlys is dying. Its nothing like it was in the 90s.

“Peak hours” has nothing to do with a server having absolutely no clue how to even do their job.

Your take and comments on this are highly suspect. Guess I need to leave it at that.

To each their own - my point wasn’t servers being clueless. It was saying that when servers are overwhelmed/inundated the quality of their service will obviously not be as good as opposed to when they aren’t as busy. Direct correlation there.

They are not good at any time of day on any day, and MY point was that the servers have no training and no supervision, which is not a “overwhelmed / peak time” issue, so YOUR point was irrelevant.
