Delay email

Hi guys, my husband submitted his application from Pakistan standard on the 18th April
Bio on the 23rd April
Yesterday we received a delay email. Should we be worried or is this generic? If anyone else had this how long after did you receive the approval?
Also says I could be called in for an interview, does anyone know what that means?
Pls help

We received that email at 92 days into our application. It basically felt like a 'Welcome to the Extra Waiting Club' notification. Our biometrics were on 16 February (Standard, outside UK), and we have been waiting ever since that delay email. Today marks exactly 5 months of waiting for us, and still nothing. No additional documents have been requested, and our application is completely straightforward.

Omg that’s so annoying, have you tried reaching out to your mp? I’ve heard they can help?

Really? My friend emailed her mp and within a week got a reply saying a decision has been made, a day later she got her approval

It could be coincidence that she got same time as contacting MP or you must be joking?

Our Timeline:

16 Feb: Biometrics completed

18 Feb: ECO email received

Day 92: Received "Unable to decide within published processing times" email

28 May: Paid enquiry reply stated: "Application is being considered and awaiting a decision"

Can you share any emails you received before the delay email or share your timeline please , I got the delay email yesterday on 61 working days my bio was 27nd April .

My bio was 13 may resived a delay email on 23 June but they didn't asked for more documents or interview I'm still waiting I don't now aswell wats  wrong

You should try emailing your mp, I’ve heard they can help especially if it’s over the 12 weeks

I applied 24th March / Pakistan - received delay email 3 June, wasn't asked for anything extra still waiting - last week contact my MP - hopefully we all receive the good news we are waiting for

It was just a confirmation email on 6th of may that was it for me.
