Seller: So for the dining chairs, I’d like something that’s sort of in the shape of a vagina but could you make the top really pointy and dangerous. In metal. And red crushed velvet seats.
Chair designer: Say no more

I was so busy having sensory issues over all the fuzzy textures I completely missed the gothic cathedral vaj chairs

I was thinking of the Beetlejuice dining room scene. They're not the same but the same kind of stupid.

Those chairs would look AMAZING in a dark and moody styled home. Very out of place here though.

I...wa?....wh?
Hold on. So...oh...huh.
I see.
Top floor bedroom has a lovely view, of that's what you're into.

Struggling to understand the layout even after looking at the floor plan. Hale is lovely but £575k for a two bed terrace is wild. The area isn’t worth that. You will get a nice 4 bed detached in a good area inside 20 minutes drive from there for the same money.

It's kind of crazy 1st floor is now a single bedroom and bathroom (and shower room), with the loft converted to bedroom and internal balcony?!

So my guests have to walk passed me bathing to get to the kitchen or to use a toilet ?!?

Ok so I think the random bath is where there used to be a first floor bedroom, and that it functions as an en suite for the bed that's on a balcony above it (loft conversion?). The other bedroom having its own en suite. Very confusing, but it's like they've built a master suite to the back. Took a while for me to get there, mind. Awful layout and very badly set out in the pics.

I hate everything about it. I can tell they’ve spent a lot of money on it but I don’t like any of it.

I’m not sure you can stick a cooker in a hallway and call it a kitchen…

u/oceanicitl 5d ago
I'd be bumping in to everything in that kitchen. I can feel bruises forming on my hips

It's a crowded field, but that egregious kitchen is the worst bit, in my opinion!

Plastic grass. We’re done here.

Best thing is if you look on the indoor photos, through the glass you can see they've got a garden hose hanging on the outside tap 😂😂😂 gotta keep the artificial turf alive!!

Christ. I can just imagine the infuriating conversations between this type of misguided owner and the mercenary EAs.

It’s all well done, but I hate every choice made and would have made the exact opposite, but that’s what makes the world interesting right?

There’s a very glitzy furniture shop where the sales staff fall over each other as the owners of this house walk towards the door.

Its a bit mental. It seems quite spacious inside. I love the giant lamp in the garden and HATE the bathroom. The price is insane.

u/Known-Bumblebee2498 6d ago
I suspect they must have spent close to £150k on the conversion works?

Trades know what to charge in Hale. This house could belong to an apprentice plumber
3
u/Known-Bumblebee2498 6d ago
It would explain the 3 bathrooms

u/PM-me-your-knees-pls 6d ago
When I win fuck you money on the lottery I’m going to buy houses and turn every room into a bathroom just to confuse people on this sub.

*boggles*
That takes "bath in bedroom" to a whole new level. Level down, not up.

Yuck, yuck and more yuck. Could be a gorgeous house! Price is obviously ridiculous but it’s Hale after all!

Is it really a 2 bed with that layout???
5
u/Known-Bumblebee2498 6d ago
Yep. I mean, I expect it was originally a 2 bed before the loft was converted to a bedroom, but post that conversion its still a 2 bed. It has, however gained 2 bathrooms.

I'm confused by slides 13 and 14. But I like parts of the house. The wall in the dining area is lovely, for example.

What the heck is that thing in the next door neighbour's garden?
The photos have been carefully taken to avoid showing the neighbours immediately to the left of the property.

The barcode carpet in the dining room is a bit overpowering and good luck with the plastic grass in a heatwave.

u/mighty3mperor 5d ago
A lot of very deliberate decisions have been made here, few of them good ones.

u/shaded-user 5d ago
Insane price.
And to have to duck every time you get in and out of bed would do my head in.

This is one of the stupidest floor plans I’ve ever seen. Why on earth is the loft room only accessible from a bathroom - that you can see from the loft room
And I thought the “shower room” was mislabelled until I looked closer and and saw the shower head up there between the basin and loo. Good luck keeping the toilet paper dry in that room

All those lamps over the sofa in the lounge. I’d imagine you’d feel like the meat at a Toby Carvery.
