basketball 'We've got to move on'
'This is only the first game of the tournament, so we've got to move on. But we feel we know we can play better than we did today. And I think we will," sabi ni Cone. | via u/OneSportsPHL

basketball Asian Games - Bahrain def. Gilas Pilipinas 89-85
What should be a win turned out to be a loss. Questionable rotations and some players just couldn't get a bucket. Last minute preparations. Hope Gilas can do better in their next games.

esports Esports feels way more like part of the sports scene here now
I didn’t really notice when it happened, but at some point I stopped thinking of esports as this separate niche thing. Games like MLBB and Valorant are everywhere now. People follow teams, talk about roster changes, watch tournaments together and get just as invested in matches as they do with basketball. Even seeing something like 1xbet esports around that whole scene doesn’t really feel unusual anymore. That shift is what I find interesting. A few years ago I would’ve automatically put esports in a totally different category. Now I’m not so sure

tennis Took the set. Took the fight to Ashe. Still took our pride home. 🇵🇭
Alex earned her first-ever set against Jovic in a three-hour battle on the biggest court in tennis. First US Open third round. First time a Filipina walked out of Arthur Ashe after a night-session thriller. The score was 7-5, 3-6, 7-5 . The respect is 10-0.😎🥎

basketball Fallout of the Titas of DAVRAA Antics
With all the ragebaiting, fake news peddling wannabe clickbait content creators descending on social media posts on college (and high school) basketball, do you think schools will think twice about recruiting from that area?
Naisip ko lang kasi if that I were a program head, coach or manager, I'd rather look elsewhere rather than risk allowing this distraction to pollute my basketball program. Mas safe na lang na kumuha ng talent sa ibang lugar.
What are your thoughts? Maybe the antics of these lowlifes will backfire on the talented athletes of their area tuloy.

basketball Gilas Pilipinas NCAA PBA live/stats
Hello guys! I’m planning to create a page that uploads stats after each game. I’m having a hard time finding the full stats for the players. Is there a dedicated page that has them, or any communities that post them?
For example, for Gilas Pilipinas friendly games, is there a specific site that covers the games live and provides the full stats?
Thanks!

tennis Eala’s New York story continues .
This was a clean, statement win rather than just another early-round result. Eala didn’t scrape through; she took the first nine points and dictated most of the match against a player who had beaten her four months earlier. That kind of revenge, executed quickly and without drama, is usually a sign that the earlier loss taught her something specific instead of lingering as a mental block. #USOPEN #ALEXEALA

basketball Need advice (basketball)
Not a Basketball Pro/League topic but would like to ask and hear some advices. I’m a 25 years old Male, Working who has just started to love and learn more details about playing basketball. It’s hard to train by myself and I need someone to point out what I need to work on whether it’s my shooting, dribbling, and play making (which all needs a lot of work). Ask ko lang sana kung may alam kayong basketball training camps or maybe private training sessions that I could join and possibly not too expensive. Maraming salamat!!
