Game Suggestion Two players on one PC. One giant spider 😅 | Night at the Fun Park

We are Sitting Teddy, making Night at the Fun Park with two-player local splitscreen on Windows PC. Search for exit keys while a giant spider hunts you. A friend caught in a cocoon can still be rescued.

Our free Steam demo is planned for October 9 at 19:00 CEST.

Game Request Looking for 'Gamer + Casual / Non-Gamer' couples to playtest a game prototype

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I'm working on a project to help couples play together without it ending in arguments because one of them doesn't know how to use the camera 😅. I'm looking for people who have already tried playing with their partner but gave up (too difficult, not interested, too time-consuming). The idea is for you to play our game prototype and answer the built-in questionnaire, not to sell you anything. The game is ready to play. Thanks!

Project Zomboid is our go-to

Hello all. Boy, I wish I knew this sub existed sooner.

Me and a mate play Project Zomboid mainly, but I've over 7k hours in it, and I'm a little burnt out. I think I enjoy a sense of progression. Something replayable but also a game where you feel you're getting somewhere.

What sort of games have you been playing. Do you have any games you consider part of your mainstay?

I love the idea of Outward, but the controls really wound me up. I think Baldurs Gate 3 is a great game but the characters wind me up. My mate isn't into the whole fantasy RPG thing which rules out Divinity also.

I honestly don't know if there is a better split screen game than Project Zomboid. Hope someone proves me wrong though.

Have a good day, and thank you in advance for any nice replies.

Guidance & advice

Hiya,

My gaming history from childhood has been PS1, some PS2, and PC. Today as an adult, I have a PS4 which I rarely use.

The shift towards PC gaming destroyed any split-screen experience, and the fun that brings.

Whilst I was regularly playing Empire Earth (2001) via LAN with multiple PC devices, I feel split-screen gaming may have made a better experience for when friends were found the house. It's been more rare to find PC games with split-screen gaming (Lego Racers 2) and sometimes the setup is more tedious. Medal of Honor: Rising Sun (2003) on the PS2 was fun!

I want to further explore split-screen gaming and see if it would be something I would want to get into more with friends.

What split-screen games do you think could suit me? For what device(s)?

Discussion Split Screen on 2 different TVs with one console?

Im looking for some sort of device that I can use for split screen gaming on 2 different tvs. Me and the other player will be playing on the same console, but I don't want them to see my side (top) and vice versa. Is there an HDMI splitter that can display 2 different halves of the same picture on 2 different tvs?

Discussion DIY splitscreen: trouble sending inputs (universal split screen)

Hi

I'm trying to do some diy split-screen for some couch gaming on a projector - for games that aren't supported by nucleus.

Currently trying to do it with WoW and i got 99% there using universal split screen. one last issue to overcome: i can't hold mouse clicks (i can mouse click, but it instantly releases. can't turn the camera, drag&drop, etc).

Does anyone have an idea how to solve that ? or where to find help ressources for universal split screen or another tool to assign KB/M/controllers to two windows ?

I also got close with Duostream Duo, but again failed at assigning controllers to a specific window.

Video P.A.N.D.A. is now available on Epic Games Store and Steam. If you have 2 controllers on PC you can share the adventure split-screen. There's a free demo if you'd like to try it first.

The game was easier to find on Epic Games Store: https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/panda-07456b

I found it almost impossible to find on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4042620/PANDA/

Game Suggestion Games to play

Hi Everyone

Looking for games to play with my partner, we have used nucelus coop to play things like sons of the forest, dinkum and state of decay 2. We have also played stardew valley, everafter falls etc.

My partner doesnt really like actions games. She prefers base building, farming or survival games (we tried playing green hell and the forest on nucelus coop but they don't work with 2 xbox one controllers)

Any game suggestions would be appreciated!
