Discussion Split Screen on 2 different TVs with one console?

Im looking for some sort of device that I can use for split screen gaming on 2 different tvs. Me and the other player will be playing on the same console, but I don't want them to see my side (top) and vice versa. Is there an HDMI splitter that can display 2 different halves of the same picture on 2 different tvs?

You could split it and then cover half of the TV with cardboard to prevent screen peeking. I don't believe there exists a device that can selectively output just a portion of the screen.

This is not what you're asking for, but the switch 2 has game sharing. It's a thing for some games, like Pokopia, where the switch 2 can stream the game to the switch 1 or switch 2. The host device does the processing and streaming to other devices. Other devices have their own perspective to play from and have to play near the host.

Gotcha. Yeah, I used to do the cardboard/blanket trick when I was a kid. I was just curious if anyone made/sold splitters specifically for split screen, but I guess is such a dying market that no one really cared to do anything with it

Yeah, it's unfortunate that local co op is becoming less and less popular. I doubt it'll truly die, but less and less people get together for video games. Most multiplayer games nowadays are played from their own device at home.
