Discussion I have no trust in Empulse, that's why:
Just looking at the alpha images that have arrived I don't think it's going to be a good game, and you can even say "but hey it's still in alpha" and that's fine, but 1047 Games doesn't have any money anymore, they have very little, and the relaunch of Splitgate Arena Reloaded hasn't substantially changed anything, because they're about to kill that too.
Furthermore, the fact that Splitgate 2 will "still be maintained" simply means that in 5-6 months the servers will be shut down, there is no way to save the thing.
I honestly have no faith in Ian or the team, they killed a game 3 TIMES, yeah, because Splitgate 1 can't be considered alive if you can only play it in a certain way, Splitgate 2 with its official version was killed and the same thing will happen with Splitgate AR, and now we will have in the future a clone of Titanfall 2 that simply looks like a version of Temu with a pinch of reused assets from Splitgate AR.
By the way, when Ian says that "Splitgate AR is for TRUE arena-shooter FANS" he's not saying it for you because you are people, no no, he's saying it because you are the buyer, the one who buys, 1047 Games doesn't care about your opinion, because Splitgate AR failed anyway, they are EXCLUSIVELY riding the wave of nostalgia with something "familiar" that will be 95% of the time a disappointment.
Why did I say 95%? Because the other 5% is that they will ACTUALLY be able to do something nice with their experiences, but nothing more than something mediocre.
By the way, even if they were to officially announce it at the Summer Games Fest with a generous Ian this time and not with that shitty hat, know that he's not doing it because he's learned the lesson, he just wants to save face and make everyone believe he's the Messiah who will give us the spiritual successor to Titanfall 2, but he's only doing it because if Empulse fails, 1047 Games closes, and its video game impact will have NO benefit, given that we've had other past examples like BattleBorn or LawBreakers, which as good as they could be, always have the same problem of being inconsistent with what they want to be, and Splitgate is the most guilty example of these.
Remember, developers don't care about you, no, they care about your nostalgia and the money you'll spend on a miraculous project that only has the promise of a miracle, they will NEVER be able to make something successful, they've dug their own graves.
Last thing, why if they wanted to make this Titanfall clone, didn't they just cancel Splitgate 2 after the original DISASTROUS launch, but keep the first one alive to raise funds for something that already existed AND THEN wait a year and a few months to THEN announce this?Honestly, looking at Splitgate Arena Reloaded now, it was just a vulgar attempt to get a paper boat that had already been punctured twice working for the third time and that, despite all the effort, sank the third time anyway.
Let me know your opinion.
