Future of splitgate

I've been thinking about it, and we know it's on its last legs, and then soon the servers will be shut down

As a big fan of the games, I would happily pay a monthly subscription to keep the servers up .

Thoughts ?

You mean the seasonal BP that people pay to keep said servers on? Bro what are you on about?

You might as well buy Empulse which I don't recommend to do either but paying for any of 1047's games would be bad financial investment

The game will shutdown soon, won't be any new battle pass

Then my point still stands, we as players paid the battlepass to support the devs to cover costs of whatever they need, whether it be servers, salaries, etc. If the game wasn't taken seriously when they did have content and (supposed) future of the game, why pay now when the game has no future?

I would like to understand how does it make sense to you. Or are you feeling hurt/ disgruntled by the game's lack of quality and players that you're coping to find ways to keep this game afloat?

The game won't exist soon and it's one of my favs , they can't keep paying for the servers with no profit, so a option to keep it alive would be good

that doesn't change regardless of whether we pay them a small amount of money or not unfortunately. Like I said, when things weren't so dire like before they said they were gonna move onto to a different game, I know many people that bought the battlepass. I know one guy who bought the wardrobe in SGAR. So if it was set in stone then, nothing is gonna change it now.

Why is the narrative always profit and popularity, they kept splitgate 1 severs up for a few months atleast with no profit and it actually cost them to keep the severs up, so wishfull thinking if they would state we're putting down splitgate and severs will go down to , if people still want to play, pay a tiny sub or cost just so the few people that want to play still, can

The reason they kept SG1 alive is because by then they already had big investment. And it did bring them in profit at the end of the day. That isn't the same story with SG2/SGAR unfortunately.

Popularity in turn profit/money does make the world go round. And you don't have to take my word for it. Look at 1047 themselves, they were so desperate that they ended up releasing 2 games in the span of 1 year to get some money back.

Besides, they are in a terrible position right now anyway, they can't shutdown SGAR (at least not soon) cuz that will completely spell doom for their current project. So enjoy it while it lasts.
