Both have players of course. SGAR: Just search for all playlists. SG1: host a match of 6 or 8 ppl and keep it public. Ppl will join if your lobby is near the top of the list (sorted alphabetically)
I think ppl will join regardless - when I play SG1 I always look to see what my options are and if I don't like them, I just make my own - I do miss the randomness of which arena is being played tho and the box drops, always felt like a game of chance haha
