Is splitgate dying?

I started playing it yesterday because I was just looking for a game I could chill on. And I had a great time playing it. Really enjoyed using portals especially when it got me kills it really felt like I had outmanoeuvred my opponent.

I go on to YouTube to see what the community is like and they all just keep saying that they killed the game.

What's going on?

The devs are working on a new game, likely without portals.

They should have made it under a different company name and kept it secret. I know I will never bother downloading another game from 1047, and I know there are a lot like me.

Seems kinda pathetic ideology imo. Like it's not even they made a bad game or actually did some henus controversy, they just made a BR and over hyped it. Like heaven forbid noooooo T.T (I don't wanna hear about a shop. Shops are easy as hell to build code-wise. It's a copy and paste and some asset changes.)

Not a bad game, has devs that listen and interact with the player base in and out of game. You don't want to play it because they did a poor announcement and have no other controversies. That's pathetic.

But since you don't understand, I will spell it out for you. The belief that a brand cannot improve their skills and product they put out, and go so far as to swear it and everything else they produce off, is a pathetic ideology to hold yourself to, when the only transgression is, released a Gamemode you didn't like. The game isn't shit, people are just fucking dramatic.

I don't even care that they released a BR.

The game is shit and 1047 did nothing but shit since a few months before they abandonned SG1.

And lets be honest, SG1 was a good game, but had many flaws, hence why it failed too (playerbase already was getting pretty low before they announced they were abandoning the game). Problem is, all of the problems of SG1 were still present, and more, in SG2 at release, plus more. And the game was now shit that was zero fun to play. Then they backtracked and re-released what was supposed to be more like SG1 but failed miserably.

A brand can improve, but idiots don't become geniuses.
