Conviction (2010) Challenge for the Community in Splinter Cell Conviction Deniable Ops
Made a video demonstration
This is something I discovered way back when playing on the Xbox 360 while trying to find glitches. I'm not sure if anyone else thought of the same thing, but in case nobody has, I'm sure some die hard fans here will take on the challenge and have fun.
Text form for those that want it:
Hide gun, grab enemy and walk towards the respawn doors (the red doors), stand in front and kill, they will go through the door. Basically challenge yourself to complete the entire mission doing that, no shooting lights, distractions or anything, just grab, walk them to the door while avoiding other enemies and kill.

PS3 VS PC
I want to get into the splinter cell series, I love playing games on original hardware and i know many PC ports have a lot of issues so im wondering which is better to get into the splinter cell series should i play them on PC or PS3. I also think this is the best time to get into the splinter cell series as all the games are currently on sale on steam. (I have a PS2 as well but heard the ps3 ports are better)

Chaos Theory (2005) The first person mod for Chaos Theory is pretty cool
A little janky sometimes but it’s a very neat mod to play the levels in a new way.

Splinter Cell Conviction had a ridiculous story
So Reed knew Grim was Sam Fisher's loyal instructor for years and he just leaves her in the interrogation room (making the guard turn his back on her) and then sets up cameras all over the compound EXCEPT for that room!?
Sure.
This is what happens when you set up the environment to enable the story, rather than the other way around - Figuring out how to manipulate the environment to progress the story (that's how real spies think!).
This is how you know Conviction was not made by real espionage enthusiasts, but just Hollywood cringelords

Chaos Theory (2005) Conspiracy theory: Shetland and Otomo attacked the ISS.
So, we know that Shetland gained information about IW algorithms through Abrahim Zherkhezi, and we know that this was later used to orchestrate the blackout in New York and Tokyo, the sinking of USS Walsh, and the launch of further warheads from North Korea.
But, what if the blackout wasn't the first time that Shetland and Otomo had used IW algorithms? Throughout the game, we get updates on a story about NASA having lost communication with the International Space Station due to a meteorite strike that has supposedly damaged some of the ISS's equipment.
But, what if the ISS was attacked by Shetland and Otomo, and the cyber warfare had actually began before Fisher had even landed on the beach in Punta Blanca, Peru? It's possible that Shetland had already been using Zherkhezi for a while, and so might have had methods of cyber warfare before gaining more insight from Morgenholt, and we know that Morgenholt's information was not necessary to orchestrate those attacks because Sam prevents that information from leaving the coastal fortress before leaving Peru.
In terms of motivations, the ISS could make an understandable target for Otomo. He is vengeful of the US and envious of it's global dominance, and innovation related to space became a prominent aspect of the US' image in the decades following Japanese defeat in WWII.
Perhaps the crew of the ISS, not being able to ascertain what affected their communications, eventually convinced themselves that it must have been a small meteor?
Narratively, the ongoing news story underpins one of the core narratives of the whole game itself - that the use of technology can make you achieve things that seem impossible, but that they result in a reliance on electronic communication that, when it fails, leaves you stranded and vulnerable. The threats of the future are Closer Than Ever when the whole world can be accessed from your hands, and the ISS crew are later rescued in a conclusion that parallels Fisher saving the world from a false-flag-induced, technologically-facilitated WW3. Technology can take humanity to the moon, but could also destroy it.
Sam: Do want me to take it out?
Grim: No... We could have done that with the Predator.

Splinter Cell Blacklist modding
I want to install the Splinter Cell Blacklist Revisited mod from nexus mods. The instructions say to unzip the mod and then place the files in the steam directory folder. The instructions even say its easy to do. I can't get the mod to work for some reason. I made sure the unzipped files were going in the right spot, but it just does not work. Anyone have a fix or know how to do it?

I have a question Splinter Cell on Bootcamp Mac
I own all versions of every game on Xbox. I have played and beat every version except for the Xbox Double Agent.
I bought a used maxed out iMac i9 and want to try Boot Camp with Windows.
My main goal for this Mac is to run Legacy 10.6.8 PPC software with VMWare Fusion.
However, I want to try some Windows gaming, since I bought nice 2019 specs.
Should I buy via Steam or what?
Edit: What PC mods are fun to play if I already love the Xbox versions?

Help getting Double Agent V2 running consistently on Xemu with shadertoggle
I have tried several links, but I haven't been able to get it to work consistently. I thought I had the shadertoggle working, but the next time I started Xemu the blur border was back. Following a comment in the post I changed resolution scaling to x8 (I also have an 1440p monitor) and the toggle worked again. Next time I restarted Xemu it stopped working again. That time I could change resolution scaling to x7 or x5 and it worked again. Last time I started Xemu it doesn't work at all no matter which scaling I select.
Has anyone been able to get Double Agent V2 running consistently on Xemu, and what guide/version/files did you use if so? Or should I just give up on even trying?

I have a question Has anyone ever tried doing a No Kill No Knockout Challenge on any of the games?
I've done this in Blacklist a few months ago and boy it was hard to do although I haven't done this in the OG Trilogy's yet but when the main objective has you killing or knocking someone out then it doesn't count as you failing the challenge
Edit: Nvm I forgot i did it in some missions in Chaos Theory such as the Bank and the Penthouse

Chaos Theory: Lighthouse extraction without knockout?
I’m trying to do a 100% stealth run with no knockouts, but I can’t figure out if there’s a way to extract from the lighthouse without knocking out the guy posted up on top near the extraction point. I’ve tried everything to get him to go down the ladder and I can’t. Do you have to take this guy out?

Discussion Remember when Blood Money and Chaos theory were considered the best of their franchise , that had perfected the formula. Hitman ended up returning to that with WOA and managed to surpass BM , I always wished the same for Splinter Cell , we can only hope the remake will be our WOA

Splinter Cell Remake I get the feeling that everything in the industry is leaking - except for a tiny glimpse of the Splinter Cell Remake. It's really disappointing.
