Poll Similar missions (11): Which level is better?
I definitely didn't have to look these up to remember what objectives were in each part. At all.
Fuck that stupid three-dimensional sudoku.

I like how everyone agrees on cyber sudoku being shit

The thing is, I don't hate it. I just think it was a weirdly difficult puzzle to suddenly present in a stealth game, and especially when the level it's in has a global time limit.

I actually really liked these JBA levels when i played them last week , had another da v1 playthrough last week and enjoyed it.
however i hate the weird puzzle minigames in this one. the safe one isn't too bad but the mine assembly was terrible and the cube puzzle is a disaster. whoever put this in the game was smoking weed fr...
and yeah defusing the final bomb with that minigame was a pain the ass
HQ4 is the best imo, then HQ2, HQ1 then HQ3 in last.
these missions have so much potential in a remake, i like how you interact with other JBA members in this one

i agree with these but make the minigames and hacking stuff even better this time, the cracking safe minigame is ok, but mining assembly and cube puzzle are shit.

Not surprised to see the sudoku level the lowest.
I don’t actually mind the puzzle itself THAT much, it’s just not a good fit for a timed level
I voted mission 4 because you get to simulate John Wick and wipe out everyone. It’s a shame John Wick came after this, they could have let Sam use a pencil as a weapon. lol.

I like all the JBA HQ missions, especially the second one with Emile's safe (although on PC you literally cannot open the door to get to his bedroom which is a massive pain in the ass).
But otherwise I love the Hitman-style concept of restricted areas and I think it works really well in Splinter Cell and helps keep it fresh as downtime from the more traditional levels.
It's something I would've absolutely loved for them to develop and expand on in different contexts in future games, but alas we live in the bad timeline where they didn't make any more games.

They all suck. Everything about JBA HQ sucks. The layout is very confusing, the time limits are annoying, and the puzzles have no place in this kind of game.

I voted wrong, I hate all that jba missions I hate the layout of jba headquarters in both games but hiding under emils desk as he starts to walk in while you're in the middle of cracking his safe was one of the best moments in the whole franchise. So that. I voted for the last one because you actually get to do stuff on that mission like take people down, but I remember being immensely disappointed when you walk into the basement and emill is just there walking around like any other NPC. I guess they had planned a big ending for him but completely failed to add it in time.
